Bought this Uroparts Vanos oil line for my 2005 e46. It has the same exact dimensions and fitment as the OE hose, for a fraction of the price.Perfect fit and no more oil leak.Thanks Amazon!

Somewhat difficult to install: if your oil filter housing is off the car, don't tighten it fully. Hand tight so you can rotate it +-5 degrees so you can get it to fit under the intake manifold. Now you can't get a torque wrench to get it to the right number. But I was able to crank it with a regular wrench and it doesn't leak. Don't forget the crush washers! this part does NOT come with them.

The old one on my 03 325i was leaking a little, and generally looked like crap. One less thing to worry about. 👍

A perfect fit, just like OEM.It does not include the crush washers for the banjo bolt. You can order a copper washer assortment for a few dollars on Amazon.Its been on the car a couple weeks and not leaking yet. Lets hope it stays that way

I was easily able to install this in my sons 2004 BMW 330i E46. Did not need to remove the alternator, just air clear housing. I purchased new washers made of copper, worked perfectly. No leaks after 2 weeks of use. Old hose was original BMW and leaked at the hose to banjo fitting crimp, lower end. Need a spot flashlight to see it well.

Shipping was quick and the part fit perfectly. My only caution is about using the Amazon parts finder. For this application it gave me the wrong part number. For some parts like this, the part that fits depends on the month the car was manufactured in. I had to go to realoem.com to verify my VIN to confirm this is the correct part number. Because of this, the Amazon parts finder told me that this would not fit my 1997 BMW 328i. Since I confirmed it would fit on realoem.com, I purchased this anyways and it fit perfectly. If you are looking for this part, make sure to confirm the correct part number on another site outside of Amazon first, then search by part number on Amazon and buy that part, you'll have to ignore the message from Amazon that says it won't fit. Unfortunately the Amazon parts finder doesn't work all of the time and it would have caused a lot of headaches if I would have purchased the part it suggested I purchase rather than doing the extra research to find the right part number.
