Smell

Noy much you can say about a urinal mat :) The smell nice, are sturdy and help stop unwanted items from clogging the urinal without inhibiting liquid flow. Will buy again.

I got these for my office at work. For a while I was the only male and now there are two of us, although we frequently have guests. Our bathroom doesn't typically smell bad, but you can occasionally smell the urine smell that comes with the territory. These completely masked any odors and were so strong (but not overbearing) that it even made 5 or 10 feet of the hallway smell nice. I left the first one for about 3 weeks, it still had a pleasant smell, but it wasn't so strong that it took over the whole room anymore. The only thing that might be a complaint (but doesn't really matter in my case) is that they float up every time the urinal is flushed, but then settles back down into the correct position. I doubt it would float out of anyone's toilet, so I don't really see it being much of an issue. Pricewise it seems to be a good deal compared to others on amazon.

These work pretty well! The scent is not headache inducing strong, but it’s strong enough that you do get a whiff of it and it smells pleasant. I’ve only changed it out once since I put the first one in 3 weeks ago, so for us about once every 1 1/2-2 weeks works for replacement. Of course if you have this in a public bathroom that may be too long to go between changing. Overall not bad!

It was a nice touch to add these. Then there were the (24) packs of urinal screen deodorizers, which were individually sealed, which is appreciated and, in this case, needed.Weight of each screen.Each screen weighed in at about 48 grams, which is about 1.7 ounces.Dimensions of each screenEach screen measured 6½” in diameter (much larger than a cake) and was just over ¼” in thickness. There is rubber like nubs that act as a method to keep these in place.ApplicationVaried. Its primary use is as a screen for a urinal. A secondary use would be for a drain. For instance, a garage tub/sink and a garage floor drain. So far, there are no physical residues, for instance, within the tub/sink. For inside the home sink use? Hmm, these are kind of fragrant and big. For a tub/shower? Yes, but again, these are fragrant and of larger diameter. Plus, I have no idea what these are made of, as there was no safety sheet included nor any reference.Product aroma?There is no accounting for one’s aroma preferences. However, this is presented as both scented, ocean breeze and lemon. The ocean breeze, whatever that is, other than aromatic and fresh/clean smelling was the strongest and the lemon was believable as being lemon, but not as strong. So, for me, each has basic universal appeal. Whether real or imagined, however, to me, the lemon version has a citrus aroma.] For a urinal, it really does not overpower and is effective against personally produced aromas.Effective?Yes.How long?I am not sure about the (30) days, yet I can update if significantly different.Effective over a day?Depends on the day. Intense or quiet. An intense day will tax any deodorant. But I am very happy with this so far.Personal protectionThe proof is in the splashing, this did reduce splashing better than a cake, in my opinion. I do not see any stains produced from this. Using this does reduce offensive aroma.Clean?No.Stop cigarette butts?If in an environment that allows smoking, this does catch cigarette buts and other paper.Application?It’s big, so will climb the sides on small urinals. Simply flop down.Removal?Easily.Stained?So far, no, on plastic, metal, nor porcelain.Active ingredientUnknown (I did not contact customer services and there was no data sheet that I could find).Thoughts on lack of information surrounding ingredient?There are trade-offs in life. I prefer to make my own intelligent decisions on whether use of this is appropriate and safe. I like this helps stinky aromas, but I would like to know how.Consistency?Smooth and even aroma, throughout use, although I think the strongest is on opening.Value?The price, at the time of this review, was competitive with other products, although I do now see, May 2023, that there is a price off coupon. I think a better price, for my wallet, would be closer to a $1 each. Only time will tell on longevity and effectiveness of this product, but for now I think this a competitive value.Expiration date?I did not find an expiration date anywhere. Love that these are individually packaged. Really easy to store them without worrying about finding an area that will remain odorless. These work well in our church men's bathroom. Keeps odor at bay and fills the area with a clean, fresh scent. Our cleaning lady likes them too!

No complaints about these urinal screens. They fit fine in a 30+ year old urinal, and I imagine they would fit fine in more modern fixtures since there really hasn't been much change in urinal design over the years (at least that I've noticed). The material is thick and appears durable. The overall design is effective not only for minimizing splash, but for also staying put. It has small tabs all around the edge that help it grip the porcelain and stay where it should.They come individually wrapped, which is a plus since, with only one urinal to deal with, a box will last some time. Having them individually sealed keeps the scent from drying out. The scent itself is effective, especially for the blue ones. The yellow ones have a lemon scent that's not as effective. Plus I just don't care for having a yellow colored urinal screen.These are more expensive than the urinal cakes, but do a better job and make things look a bit more tidy. They are made in China. It does come with a pack of disposable gloves, but they are super thin and cheap. But, not a major issue since we always have gloves on hand.Five stars for the blue ones; four stars for the yellow. Overall score of 4.5 stars. I'll round up to 5 since the design is better than others I've used.
