STEP 1
Choose any butane gas brand (Ronson, Blue Flame, etc.) that has the long universal filling tip and insert the canister tip. ( Please note: not use short filling tip.
STEP 2
- Push filling hole on the bottom of lighter with screwdriver to release all air.
- Rotate the gas valve on the bottom of lighter to “–”.
- Shake butane gas canister several times to warm.
- Turn the torch upside down insert the gas canister tip. Push it 2-3 times and each time shall last for 4-6 seconds.
- Use it after 5-10 min. ( Inner gas need time to stabilize )
STEP 3
- Push the ignition button to get powerful jet flame.
- Please try not to ignite the lighter for long time ( suggest no more than 20 secs ), or will reduce the operation life.

I use it for my candles and also to light my cigarettes. The adjustment lever at the bottom is easy to adjust and also the hold of it is easy to use even if you have carpel tunnel. I will but these again. LOVE THEM.

The torches are good but the ability to light is a problem. Before the fuel is even gone out of the torch, The torch gets to the place where it fails to ignite.

These lighters are amazing. I have bought TONS of torch lighters (all at $5 minimum) and they never last. Since I'm a regular cigarette smoker and have to be in the wind regular lighters don't work. I've only had these a day but love them already. And the price was a steal.

I got these to start fires in a back-yard fire pit.Overall, not bad.Some minor complaints.1) The manufacturing quality control is questionable. The size of the flame is quite noticeably different on all lighters 3 in the set. For starting fire pits, bigger is better.2) It almost always requires 2 (and sometimes as many as 4) attempts to get them to light. They do work, eventually. And it is not entirely uncommon for lighters to require a few tries to start.I expect most people will be happy with them.

I purchased 4 of these because I've had one for a year now that sees rigorous use for prolonged periods several times each day. It's the best I've ever owned or seen, so I ordered more. Big mistake.Upon receipt of my package, I immediately gifted 3 to people who had long envied my lighter. When I went to use mine for the first time after filling it (to be clear, it is filled from the bottom without need for disassembly, for those who mostly rely on pictures), I pushed the sliding ignition switch toward the head, as per usual, but instead of lighting, the head slid upward, revealing its connected internal parts as they slid out of their red metal lower housing, and the two black plastic parts [that make up the bottom and gas adjustment device] fell to the floor! If I'd pushed hard enough, I would've been left with an empty red tube in my hand. My friend was almost in hysterics from the look of disbelief on my face.Upon examination, there are two screws that hold the black, plastic bottom to the reservoir. The holes in the reservoir are either stripped out or one of the screws is too short or wide--they are mismatched. Either way, the da*n thing won't stay assembled long enough for use. No complaints from the three I gifted, but I can't get them back to return the whole package for a refund or exchange. I tried the "troubleshooting" options, but none described my issue.So disappointed and heartbroken. My old lighter was great, so I was really looking forward to having another.

I will edit this review if things change.I have used this about a month, nightly, to start fires. I filled it up at the beginning of the month. It seems about half full now.I wanted something better for shrink tubing and starting fires. Lighters suck in the wind. These don't. I figured I'd use more butane, but I probably don't, because I use this for much shorter periods because it works so well.This thing is larger than a normal cigarette lighter, but smaller than a grill lighter. It's a good comfortable size.A lot of cheap torch lighters have a metal grill that is integral to their function and that gets red-hot and, in time, breaks. This doesn't. Just glorious blue sharp flame jetting out from an anonymous hole.This feels nice and solid in the hand.The slider used to ignite it is easy to use and hard to trigger accidentally. You slide it towards the end that produces flame, so even though it's a cylinder whose ends aren't incredibly distinct, it's hard to get mixed up and send flame the wrong way.The adjuster allows you to adjust too high and too low. This is good, because if things change due to wear or due to temperature, it's easy to compensate.Overall, this is one nifty piece of work, and I'm very happy I bought them.

You get a set of 4, different colors butane torch lighters. The flame is adjustable, strong and efficient. They are easy to light. Filling is a little harder, but once you get that you have to remove the base piece and then fill, it works well. There is a fuel window which is helpful. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. For some reason our shopper ranks are no longer visible - so, to give you a little more info about me, I am a top 50 reviewer (#30 the highest rank achieved). Those numbers used to fluctuate over time - up and down but I noticed that they stopped updating regularly - perhaps to phase them out. It's a shame because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer.
