These are exceptionally well-made rods. The end fleur-de-lis is heave gauge metal and the inserts where they thread are also metal. Brackets are forged. Clearly worth the price.

Looks great holding up my European tapestry. I like the adjustable length so that I can add tassles and cords on the two ends as desired.

I have not installed this hardware yet and won't until spring. However, upon examination, I found it to be in perfect condition and all pieces necessary for installation are there. It is heavier-duty than I expected, especially for the price. I did a lot of comparison shopping before this purchase and saw a similar item for 5 times the price -- really! I am very pleased.
