Multiple purchase - great closed-clip rod!Live in an apartment with "those" vertical patio door blinds?Rod have an open-hook end that keeps falling out and driving you bonkers? Need to find a ladder to put back in, maybe later...Yah, no more trouble with that after you get these.Hook one on and take the cheapo rod off and store it, then replace the default cheapo in the blinds and remove this one when you move-out of your apartment. Easy peasy. Never look back.Apartment dwellers dev a list of "default" stuff they can upgrade while in the apartment, then switch back to default when they leave. Add this to your list, and take it with you :)

I got fed up with the pull cord system on one of the curtain rods in my house and purchased these. The curtain rod was always jamming because the pull cord would get jammed in the tracks of the rings that support the curtain. I removed the curtains from the rod and the curtain rod from the wall. I almost bought a new curtain rod but then I discovered you can remove the pull cord and some of the carriage assembly of the curtain rod so that all the rings except the ones on the end move freely. Then it was just a matter of reinstalling the rod, re-hanging the curtains and then hooking these batons on. This is a simple fix that eliminates the pain of opening and closing the curtains. I think the government has banned the pull cords anyway. It's a real risk for those with young kids. These rods or batons are high quality and the clasp is strong and fits well in the holes of my curtain rod ring. I like these clear rods since they are easy to hide. You also get a cleaner appearance since no weird pull cord is hanging off to the side when you look at the curtains. If you have old style, pull cord curtain rods, this is an easy and worthy upgrade.

These replaced the old wands that fell off. These were simple to snap on to my curtains and have held up well. The transparent wands are nice because they don't show up too much against my lovely drapes. They're long enough for me to reach from the ground and still pull my ceiling high drapes open or closed without much tugging.

These are sturdy yet sleek. They are clear so are not obvious and do not take away from the drapes. They work well and are easy to install.

Nothing to dislike. I do like that the pull rods are totally clear, round and very sturdy. Very nice looking as well. The additional hardware helps the draperies open and close smoothly.Thank you

These pull rods do the job, and they're available in multiple lengths, so you should always be able to find the right length. Plus, these have a larger diameter than I expected. That said, I've purchased both plastic rods and lobster claw clips, so I know how much materials cost, and over $10 apiece is on the high side - very high. In addition, the lobster claw clasp seems a weak way of attaching these to the drapes. However, my drill press was on the fritz and the boss wanted these up now, so I purchased them. They do the job.

A bit large. Would prefer something a bit more slender.
