If you're into DIY Pinterest home hacks, then you've probably seen the low-cost alternative to buying diffuser sets: making your own using essential oils, a carrier oil, a decorative glass, and a healthy supply of these reeds! I refill and change mine up every month or so in my bathroom, but these always help to continuously absorb the scented oils and keep the area smelling fresh!

These work great to help dispel your favorite scent throughout a room. You can add any scent to a container and add the reeds and they will allow the scent to disburse around the area. You can easily turn the, upside down and the scent gets even stronger. I love the reeds for scents

I buy refills for my diffusers and my reeds had become dirty over time. I wanted some extra to improve the appearance and spares for if I decide to change the scent but not the bottle. These are just like the picture and have worked well.

I was excited to receive these diffuser sticks, with plenty in the pack and seemingly strong/well-made. As the picture shows, they work well with the bottle I have. I'm not yet convinced, though, about their ability to absorb the oil well. I went into the small room where I placed these yesterday, and I could smell nothing. I could see that the oil had climbed the sticks, but I just didn't get enough aroma unless I picked it up and held it to my nose. I flipped them over, which made the smell stronger, but still not strong enough to meet my needs. I'm trying to use this instead of the gel air fresheners to combat the cat smell in the utility room, but no luck. I'll move this to the bathroom and see if it works better there. I'm also going to add a couple more sticks to see if that helps. I'll update in a few days.

This is my first time using reed diffuser sticks so while I may not have an extensive reference for comparison so far they are quite effective at achieving their purpose. It took less than a half hour after inserting them into oil for them to start emanating the scent, which I was impressed by. Given that they can be flipped once they do lose their staying power, this 50 pack is quite economical and more cost effective than a lot of other room fragrance options.

I wasn't familiar with Urban Naturals when I ordered these 10-inch white diffuser sticks. I actually got them to replace a different brand of sticks that I had. The Urban Natural diffuser sticks work fine. They do exactly what they're supposed to - make the room smell nice - simply, naturally, and quietly. I normally use 5 sticks at a time so the 50-pack should last quite a while, and they come in a resealable plastic bag so that's good. I especially like the fact that Urban Naturals is a small family-owned business based in the USA. That's always an added plus in my book! Now it makes me want to go and buy some of their scented oils...
