Very nice looking presentation. The bottle looks neat and functions as a decoration in its own right. The reeds are very good at diffusing the smell. Overall the setup is rather nice quality. My personal issue is just that the scent is way too alcoholic. It has a harsh ethanol note to it that isn’t very pleasant. It is also a little too floral to feel like a true “ocean” scent. A tiny bit of woodiness or ambergris would help and in general I would like it to smell less like rubbing alcohol. It works well for the bathroom though, and other scents may be better.

The best part about this reed diffuser is definitely the design - it comes with a beautiful square bottle and eight black reed sticks, which look really nice. However, the “Ocean Breeze” scent was a huge disappointment. When I opened the bottle to test it, all I could smell was alcohol. Turns out, this diffuser is 75% alcohol, which is way more than I expected. The directions even have multiple warnings about how flammable it is! I usually make my own diffusers with essential oils and just a little alcohol, so I don’t understand why this formula is so strong. That being said, the bottle is gorgeous, so I’ll be tossing the provided scent and making my own instead.
