We bought this because our toddler usually likes to walk. With our second baby we knew our toddler wouldn’t want to be strapped in to a second seat but she loves riding on the piggy back. It’s great and compact and fits perfect on the stroller. I have the old version. It looks sturdy and hasn’t broken yet after a few uses so it’s a win!

Great item! My 4 year old loves riding the piggyback and it’s very convenient when you have older and younger kids. Particularly useful during travel

Very easy to snap on and off of the Uppababy Vista (ours is 2012), folds well with it on too. Great for your kid to hop on as needed and quite easy to maneuver - the only difficult thing is adjusting your stride to accommodate the board. Fast shipping!

Excellent fit on a 2014 Vista, works out of the box. My 3 year old toddler uses this 50% of the time on long walks, and or strolls in the mall.Always get compliments on it, great build construction with the wheels and bearings. Nice and smooth.Highly recommended. If you factor in the weight of the stroller with car seat and this attached to the bottom of it, it does feel a bit heavy to push, however it is not a deal breaker.

I have the additional child seat for the vista but my daughter much prefers the piggy back “skateboard”. It’s so much easier for you to hop off and on. I have a 5 month old and a 2 year old.

Just bought this and tried it out for a long walk with both kids ( 2.5 Year @35 lbs, 1 year @ 25 lbs). Normally the older one goes in the rumble seat which makes the stroller really hard to manoeuver but relatively fast when compared to him lagging behind me and touching everything we walk by (including yellow snow). He loved getting on the piggyback, took to the position naturally without banging his head and within 5 minutes was asking me to walk faster. It was great to move both kids a a rapid pace while retaining the handling ability of a single seater (people who have exceeded the carrying capacity of the rumble seat like I have with my 35 pounder will understand the reference to easy handling). With regards to other reviews, yes, your feet will hit the board. But as a 6 foot tall man I always took the handle bar to the farthest position anyway and had developed the habit of walking next to the stroller as my feet would often hit the basket especially on downhill or during fast walking. The good thing is that the only time you really need to be centered behind the handlebars is for pushing up the steeper uphills and for these today my feet never hit the board. There were complaints about sound, which in my opinion are somewhat baseless, yes it does add sound, but no more than the sound of a skateboard with high quality wheels going over the same surface, it's not a magic carpet, it's a two wheel skateboard tethered to the stroller. Having said that, it does seem to handle small bumps and curbs surprisingly well with an almost hoverish quality (which I attribute to the cleverly simple tethering method).Overall very happy with it and I wish I bought it months ago as my toddler took to it within seconds.

We have a 2009 Vista. We also have a Combi Twin stroller but it is much less convenient than the Uppa Baby and our 3.5 years old outgrew it. We looked for an affordable way to extend the Uppa so our 3.5 years old and our 2 years old will be able to travel together. We considered the Rumble seat but decided to go with the PiggyBack instead as the adding the Rumble to the Vista seemed to be to tight for kids the age of ours. We also considered buying new double strollers like the Bob Duallie and the City Mini Twin stroller but preferred to spare the ~$350 price difference. The PiggyBack is ideal for short walks. It allows an active toddler to get on and off it easily while the younger one can take a nap or just enjoy the trip.Pros:1. Installation is super simple. Two snaps and you are good to go.2. Better orientation vs the Rumble (at least if you have an active toddler and a younger guy.3. Great value for the money.4. Stroller can fold with the PiggyBack!Cons:1. The only thing I would improve would be a slightly larger wheels so it can be used with rougher terrain.

Our kids are 21 months apart and we debated buying this because the reviews vary so much. It has been a GREAT addition. I use it when I have the kids alone in crowds or in the parking lots and it is excellent. My toddler jumped right on and loves that she can see the baby and get pushed around. We didn't buy the additional seat for the uppa baby because I'm not sure our toddler would use it but have had friends recommend it to us. I like the ride along board because it allows her to walk and get tired out and then just jump on. Also, saw in other reviews that people walked into board when attached, that is not a problem at all if you just pull the uppa baby hand rail to the further out position. Attaches VERY easily to stroller and I keep in the trunk for when needed. Highly recommend.

This is so easy to attach to the stroller, it just takes seconds. Once it's on, it stays on. I love that you can just fold it up out of the way when not in use. Also, I broke mine after just a couple weeks of use and I was so happy to discover that UppaBaby would replace it for me right away. Big thumbs up for UppaBaby customer service! By the way, so you don't make the same mistake I did, here's how I broke it: I was backing the stroller off of a bus which required a step down by about a foot or so from the bus to the ground. I did not fold the piggy back up. As I was going down the step it dropped under the stroller (which it will do) and then not realizing that it was under the stroller, I set the stroller down (which was fully loaded with a kid and bag) and the plastic part where it attached to the stroller snapped. So learn from my mistake and put the piggy back up if you will be backing down a step! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that my stride does occasionally catch the board when I am walking briskly (I am 5' 10") and my husband always kicks it (he is 6' 1"). However, the vista is so easy to steer, even with a kid on the piggy back that you can just step slightly to the side if you have to to push and it's just a s easy. It actually hasn't been annoying.
