Frame made of solid steel not hardwood. I called LA Baby to verify. Item description needs to be updated. This item is also made in China not USA.

I ordered this to go with my LA Baby Crib. It looks great on my crib and I don't think the wheels will ever come off! I'm very happy and feel confident this fire crib will not let me down under any circumstances.
