Basically impossible to put the backs on with crochet. I'm not even using thick yarn and they will just not click on. I've tried with an actual safety eyes tool too and it would budge! Returning, don't waste your time/money!

I do not like to leave bad reviews. I will only do it if the product is basically garbage. First of all, the backings I got with these eyes were not the same ones as shown in the pictures. Secondly, they are impossible to get on. You know how sometimes its user error and you just roll your eyes at some people’s reviews. I tried everything, including an excellent eye tool (crojomojo) that works on all my other safety eyes that are hard to get on. All the other tricks and tips and NOTHING works. They are quite literally unusable. They do not appear to be the right size to even fit around the yarn and eye piece. I am frustrated I even have to make the trip to return them in order to get my money back that is how bad they are (they shouldn’t be selling these!).

Eyes are beautiful however the backings are impossible to use if you are using for crochet. Both myself and my husband have tried to no avail.

I was hesitant when ordering because someone had said the glitter was paper, but I’m glad I took the chance. It is actually glitter fabric. I ran it under water and scrubbed with my finger but virtually none of the glitter came off. It looked the same after drying. I pulled at the glitter ring pretty hard before it came apart, just to verify it was fabric and to test its strength. I do not see that being an issue considering it will be squeezed between the eye and fabric, and secured with the washer.I made a test swatch with size 6 bulky yarn and attached it. It was a little difficult to lock the washer on, but I was able to do it by hand and it is secure.

I have not used these in a project yet, but I have painted the backs of a few and they look great! Each eye has a protective plastic cover to prevent scratching and these things are heavy!

Very hard to put back on. Cute glitter colors. Its paper though- just fyi. Its not a solid resin glitter color. If it gets wet youre screwed. Disappointed in the paper discs.
