My boyfriend is a contractor and mechanic so I though this was a great product for him! He likes it and says it is extremely useful and high quality. Works great to test signals and systems, and the manual is useful, although very extensive. Battery lasts some time as well. It is however a very complex and specific product, so some knowledge is required to understand how to use it. It does the job tho, so he would recommend

Very nicely packaged and well protected. It comes with a color manual. The unit is well-built with comfortable hand grips. The user selected ranges are programmable. The first instruction in the manual says to, "Plug the meter into the PC and turn it on. Wait for the PC to recognize the USB drive named Bootloader." My Windows 10 PC never did recognize the meter, and this was with a USB data cable I use all the time. For that matter, once plugged into my PC, the meter will not turn on at all. It goes into charging mode, with the power button showing a red charging light indicator.I found menu navigation to be very difficult. The manual was no help in this regard. It is left up to the user to figure out what buttons to hit to get to a particular menu setting. No easy task. The cover of the manual and Page 4 of the manual shows the "Main Interface." As much as I tried, I never did find how to get there. Turning the unit off, and then on, takes the user to where the upper half of the screen is a graph with input and output values in the lower half.Perhaps an electronics engineer would have an easier time using this unit. But as a general class licensed ham radio enthusiast and electronics hobbyist, I found it to be difficult to use.I'm deducting 1-star for its lack of navigation documentation. All in all, this meter does give the impression of a highly accurate and useful device in the right hands, with more thorough documentation at hand.

I wanted this to help test and troubleshoot PLC inputs and outputs. It works well and the manual is adequate to explain the operation. I have tested the output against both a voltmeter and my oscilloscope and it is more than accurate enough for most instances. It comes with 4 cables for the input and output, a USB cable for charging and firmware upgrades and a charger. The battery took several hours to charge completely, but so far, I expect it to last for a lot longer than I would use it at any given time. I have another FNIRSI device and both it and this one work well and are made well. I would recommend.

After reading through the manual multiple times, it's hard to even say what this device is supposed to be capable of doing. The very first thing in the manual is "1. Safety Instructions" and the first item there is "Plug the meter into the PC, and turn it on. Wait for the PC to recognize the USB drive named 'Bootloader'". That has nothing to do with safety - it's part of a firmware update process, but it isn't continued and clearly doesn't belong there. It tells you that the FN key is divided into white light state and red light state. You have to hunt through the rest of the manual to figure out what those modes might mean. The clues are things like "When the [FN] red light, click [AUTO] to enter/exit the programming mode (the button blue light), at this time, the up key-single output, the down key-reset, the left key-end the output, the right key-pause/continue".Oh, and the "on/off" button does not turn the device on and off. That's a smaller button on the edge of the device. There are misspellings and typos in the manual and in the interface itself - for example one option is called "ULSE" instead of "PULSE".I can't imagine that this manual could have been considered well-written even in the original language - it's too jumbled. And it's one thing to suffer through a horrible translation for something fairly trivial like household appliances, but to be forced to puzzle out the functions of a device aimed at engineers feels like an insult. They could have paid a few bucks to have a fluent English speaker review the manual. Even AI could do a much better job. It's not a bad price for a device with these functions, but only if you don't value the time that you're going to have to spend figuring it out.
