My 2 guinea pigs love this castle. It is big enough for the both of them to hide. It has 3 openings, two are in the front and one on the side. When they have the zoomies they run in and out and around their habitat. I like that the ramp fits securely so it won't fall when they are walking on it. The ramp is also easy to remove for cleaning. I'm happy with this purchase!

I bought the large size for my chinchilla, who's a chonky guy. Larger than I expected, which is good. We have a very large cage for him. Daughter put it together in 10 minutes (small screwdriver and screws are included). Great quality for the price and the Chinch loves it! Took to it right away and was visibly pleased!

There are many of these small animal castles for sale, but most seem to use a system of pop-together tabs. This castle, however, is securely held together by screws. It's a really quality product! My guinea pigs have used it for a month, and it's going strong with no signs of wear. The piggies try to chew on it all the time, but so far, they haven't even been able to scratch the surface. So the material is well-designed for animals who love to chew. My piggies don't use the upper portion of the structure much, but love to hide underneath. The cloth that is included for the upper surface is a soft polar fleece on one side, and cotton on the other. I'm not a fan of this cloth. It's floppy and has no grip, so when the guinea pigs stand on it, it's constantly sliding out from under their feet causing them to stumble. Also, it doesn't seem to have a waterproof layer, so if pets were to use the top area a lot and pee on there, I worry that it could ultimately damage the the wood below. Overall, I am super happy with this purchase.

My rats love this. They drag their toys and blankets into it. During the day they sleep in it and at night it's a great hidey-hole play area. So glad I purchased. Very well built and easy to assemble. The screws were missing but I had some in my garage that worked perfectly!

I do not normally write product reviews although I always read them to help to determine if I want to buy a product or not. But I have to write one for this product. It is a great little piggy palace that is made of real hardwood that has a smooth finish on both sides of all the pieces. This makes it easy to wipe off any mess. The directions were excellent with pictures, and it is super easy to put together. A small screwdriver is provided, but I used my electric drill with a allen screwdriver bit to insert the screws which were also provided. The screws were long enough to create a sturdy structure which was nice since many times you get screws that are so short they will not hold the pieces together. These screws were just the right length. All the predrilled holes lined up to make all the pieces fit perfectly together. I do agree with other reviews that the little pad provided for the top bunk could be a little thicker and should have a rubber-like bottom to keep it from skidding around. I just used one of the small flannel blankets I had and folded it to fit. I would highly recommend this product for it studiness, ease of assembly, and quality. I have two baby males guinea pigs and as soon as I put it in their cage, they went right up the stairs to investigate. I ordered the large which fit perfectly in their cage which measures 47 inches by 24 inches. It also has enough room in the bottom area that both of them can move around freely. This is a winner and I thank the company for caring about the quality of their product.

It was very easy to put together, I don’t normally build stuff, but lol I didn’t feel like waiting for my significant other, so really easy appearance is super cute, it comes with a little rug for the top part and my guinea pig keeps stealing it and putting it into The little building, it’s really cute so for me this was a great product and it’s holding up really well. I got a fat little guinea pig lol good product good price bottom line.
