I bought this stool for times when I just need a seat on the go. I can take it anywhere and it barely takes up any space when folded. It's a low stool and was not designed for comfort. Therefore, bring a small cushion if you plan on sitting any length of time.

I purchased this stool so that I could take breaks while walking, to slowly build up the length of time I can walk. I used a friend’s stool before buying this one, and I wanted one for myself. Two days ago, I went for my first walk. This stool immediately seemed less sturdy than my friend’s stool (different brand, but looked similar), but since it is rated for 400 lbs, and I weigh less than that, I thought it would hold. The fourth time I opened it and sat during that walk, it buckled under me. The stool is completely destroyed. The little knobs that held it in place are broken off in many places. I’m still recovering after the fall. I will purchase another stool with a square seat because they appear to be more sturdy, and I found one that’s rated for 485 lbs (much more than my weight).

I took this to a place where I volunteer and have to kneel for hours. I put this under my butt at the right height and almost all the weight was off of my knees and onto my rear, where it belongs. Very sturdy, even though I'm heavy, and easy to adjust. Plus, the colors are fun!

Picked up one of these for a family member, my 130lb daughter thought she would try it out and she sheered off some of the nubs that lock it into place, all within 2 minutes of opening the product. Returned. Would not recommend it.

I purchased this stool for a convention I attended last weekend. It was an ideal purchase. Here's why!First off: yes, it's inexpensive. The price point was low enough it was worth trying - this plus the cushion put it firmly in the $30 range, which is worth trying in my mind!Secondly: it's the right height for me! I'm 5'3" and have short legs, so I had concerns about height. Rest assured, if you're under 6' it should be perfect for you!Third: as long as each tier is locked in properly, this thing is STURDY. I had reservations about whether it would support me, but it had zero issues handling my weight. I'm aware I'm overweight, and this makes me very cautious. I didn't FLOP on this, but I felt confident it wouldn't shatter under me.All in all, a decent, inexpensive purchase I'd make again. It paid for itself in saving my feet from what turned out to be about 5 hours spent standing in lines on Sunday.

I was looking for a seat to use in the shower that wouldn't take up space when not in use. Well this is the perfect thing! I hang it open to dry and then folded up it fits under the sink or hang on a hook.

This stool unfolds and folds up easy, and the shoulder strap is helpful for easy carrying. I was using it as a counselor to have a safe place to sit in client's space. I used it 5 or 6 times and today it just broke when I sat on it. 3(or more) of the tabs that lock it open just broke off, and onto the floor I went. Luckily I was unhurt. I weigh 190lbs; well under the limit it says. From so little use I feel should not have broken like that yet. Makes me wonder about quality of the materials.

Very colorful, easy to open, I can sit on it and it holds me fine (202 pounds). Only caveat is it doesn't fold up flat and stay shut. I have to tie it shut to carry it or it flops around. Very handy to keep in the car.

We've got black and rainbow types. Both work well and are sturdy, easy to use, and convenient. I'm about 170#, never felt unstable sitting on this stool. It is NOT padded. It is solid plastic. It is not forgiving against your bare sit-bones. If you think you would benefit from a padded stool, purchase a padded product or rig a pad to this one. That said, a real nice product. Highly recommend.

I'm not here to discredit anyone's negative review. Just here to tell you about mine. I read through all of the negative reviews on this product and others just like it from Different sellers. Devasted on getting this for months! We were down to the wire and still never found a portable chair that I could be comfortable with taking to comic con. I'm 360 pounds. Folding chairs aren't my friend. Neither are those little plastic ones people usually have in their yards. I decided to try this, it's not too pricey. I was fully expecting it to not hold my weight, or to break after the first or second time using it. It did not! The way it folds up and you can carry it around like a pocketbook is perfect. Genius style with the easy carry strap and I love that they have so many color options. It's easy to fold and unfold in a matter of seconds. I took it to a bonfire. It worked well in grass. I definitely recommend. When adjusting Just make sure it locks in place before sitting on it. That may be where others were making the mistake idk.
