It seems a very safe design and hasn't injured my Golden Retriever. My only criticism is that the on/off pressure switch is much too sensitive and I am constantly accidentally turning the unit off as I am using it: annoying.

Our dog hates when anyone touchs her paws. This trimmer is the perfect size to trim her paws quickly. it's not as loud as other trimmers.

I haven’t had this clipper long, but I’m really impressed with performance . It accesses and quickly trims areas the large clippers can’t .A must at a small price !
