I recommend this item. It was easy to install and easy to operate.I was away from home for 30 days during the summer, with hot temperatures, and the plants on my balcony survived and thrived. A 26 liter tank did the job. For the price, this is a pretty good system.Three things you want to consider before buying: 1) there is no real option to differentiate the amount of water it sends to each pot, unless you stick two (or more) spikes in the same pot; 2) this system is recommended for indoor use, so if your balcony doesn't have a cover, you may want to look at other options; 3) I would not trust the batteries to last a whole month on this thing, so if you are planning to keep it on that long, you should plug it in.

I recently got the Moistenland WIFI Automatic Plant Waterer for my indoor plants, and it's been a game changer. The setup process was really simple, and linking it to the Smart Life app was hassle-free. This compatibility extends to Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThing, and IFTTT for basic on/off control. But the true versatility is found in the Smart Life app, where I can tailor the watering schedules precisely, ranging from a brief second to a more extended 30-minute session, and plan several watering times throughout the day.One feature I particularly love is the watering log in the app. It keeps a record of all watering activities, planned or unplanned, ensuring I'm always in the loop about my plants' watering schedule. It's comforting to know they're being watered as intended. Plus, the low water level notification is a lifesaver, alerting me whenever the reservoir needs a refill. The waterer is also quite efficient, significantly reducing water usage compared to traditional methods, and it's energy-saving too. Just a note, it only connects to 2.4GHz WIFI, not 5G, so make sure your router settings are compatible. The app supports Android and iOS, provided they are updated to relatively recent versions. In short, the Moistenland WIFI Automatic Plant Waterer, in conjunction with the Smart Life app, is ideal for anyone looking to streamline their indoor plant care. It's made my plant maintenance much more convenient and less time-consuming.

First I think this is a great product, and have two, now. Second, order it well ahead of when you need it. Assembly is required, and that’s the good news - you set the dripping system up custom to your needs and setup. Also, you’ll want plenty of time to test it out and fine tune it, especially if you’re relying on it to keep your plants happy for an extended absence. Got mine two weeks ahead of a vacation; could have used three, but was only gone for a week, so no harm done - just a little overwatering. When assembling, jam the sections of tubing onto the connectors and watering spikes completely. A hair dryer works really well to soften up the tubing so it stretches onto the connectors relatively easily. The tubing has a curve to it that even heating up didn’t completely relax, so allow for this as you assemble your drip line. You’ll want to be sure your drippers all point the same direction. Also know that once tubing is pressed onto the drip spikes, it won’t come off because if the barbs. There is plenty of tubing and spikes, so I didn’t find this a problem. Adding a couple of inches of tubing after the last drip before putting on the end cap helps get more even flow to the last drip.Setting the drip rate and timer took some figuring out, but here it is: press the gear icon at the left to activate the screen. Press it again to activate the “How Long” function, and use the up and down arrows to adjust the seconds. Press it yet again to activate the “How Often” selector; up and down arrows again to set frequency. Press again and you're given the option of delay, which I didn’t use, and one more time to confirm “Set OK.” There’s a pause, and then it runs, so be sure to have your drippers in jars (if setting up multiple individual plants) or a bucket if setting up multiple drippers for one large plant, so you can test the flow rateI wound up not using the spikes because in the case of the seedlings they disturbed a fragile root structure, and in the case if a Calamondin couldn’t get them in because roots were so dense. Used the drippers alone to flood the seedling tray and a ring of drippers to surface water the Calamondin.

I did a lot of searching and review reading before I made this purchase. I got what I expected and I thought I'd share my experience so far. There were a few key features that had me make this purchase.First was that this model lets you program the watering time in seconds. Others only allow minutes. Depending on how large your plants are, minutes can be too much.Second was that it didn't have a WiFi option. Most may think "wow that would be awesome". I don't. First I want this to last a long time. Adding on WiFi is just more hardware that can eventually fail and render this useless. Also on the WiFi, I can't honestly come up with a scenario, as shown in some of the marketing photos, where I need to be adjusting my watering time, or schedule, while I am walking down a city street. I'd want to see why I need to make a change, then I'd want to be sure I got it right and I don't come home to dried out plants or a wet floor. This unit was the best choice for me.Where it lost one star:1) The programming on it is a bit quirky when you start the first time, but as other reviews share, you can figure it out.2) The drip units "watering stakes" are ok, the T connectors are a bit on the thin side. This was my biggest concern.3) The manual reads as if it is from someone that bought one and gave a detailed review. Seeing " I think" in a manual seems odd.Reading the reviews I expected #1 & #2 and they were correct. So this is what I did.I went through set up using the manual. On the first try I got my watering duration and schedule set. It was easy. Getting it to run on the schedule took a second try. When I purchased this unit, I also bought an add-on dripper package from a competitor. This competitor package had slightly bulkier hose Ts which makes me feel more confident nothing will come apart. Also the new drippers are actually valves you can adjust. There are 2 benefits here. First you can adjust the amount of water based on the size of the pot/plant. Second if you have a long run of hose, the last plant may get less water if all the drippers are the same. Using valves you can adjust them to even out your water flow much better.Long review, but I hope it helps.Would I buy this again? Absolutely. I have no regrets and I knew what to expect. I can accurately set my water times, the unit has all the features I need, and I can adjust the water flow on every plant individually. If Moistenland could bulk up the Ts and look at other drip options, they would have no competition.
