This review is for the ZF-360A with "Upgraded BT 5.3".I have two of the ZF-360 Pro (BT 5.2) and wanted to upgrade to BT 5.3. Was worried I'd mix this one up with the 5.2s but need have as this one has a matte finish compared with the smooth, shiny 5.2 units. Item works fine, pairs easily, matte surface feels nice. Sound is clear for what that's worth.Big problem, however, is that the volume output is very low, compared to the 360 Pro. I was having to run at 75-85% volume for adequate listening level, whereas the 360 Pro only needs 35-45% (sometimes 50%) before becoming earsplitting. So pretty much have to run the 360A at almost full blast. Not sure if this is a bad unit or if it's something to do with BT 5.3.Tried ordering the "Upgraded BT 5.3" unit that costs $10 more but they just sent me another 360 Pro (which I'm returning). May return this one, too.

Bought for an older model AT-LP 60 and it works flawlessly. Easy to pair with headphones and the volume controls make all the difference. Great range, it stays connected all throughout my house, and I still haven’t had to charge it yet. Super happy with this as I was about to spend $200+ on a new turntable with bluetooth but got this adapter for under $10 instead and get to keep my old one :)

Bluetooth is reliable, pairs easily & charge lasts plenty long enough. Good product, highly recommended.

Small and easy to work with. I got it for my PA system to play my soundboards over it. Halloween, Christmas, special events, generally to mess with people. Paired with 200watt 2 speaker PA system/siren (obviously I don’t drive around play a siren) paired further with soundboard apps on a smart phone and you have endless possibilities of messing with anyone and everyone. Right now it is Halloween so you do the math. Took my PA system to new level obnoxious and pointless. Hehe.Battery life seems legit. It does time out and turn if not used so don’t worry about it staying on and running down battery. Recharge time is quick. Cord is long enough to plug in a tuck away somewhere less obvious but the more between your phone and receiver will obstruct signal and shorten range. I set mine on center arm rest and can’t still be in the gas station and mess with everyone inside through my phone

This item was previously purchased almost two years ago but I noticed some component was expanding and pushing the housing open. It still worked perfectly - connects easily every time and audio was always in sync with video - however I choose to contact the seller and asked if I should be concerned. Without hesitation the seller advised me to purchase another one and that it will be refunded upon receipt and to discontinue use of old item. Item replaced 2 yrs later? Exceptional service indeed, worthy of note.

In my church, we have a mix of live and recorded music we use. I used to have someone sitting by our sound board, with a laptop. When we needed music, they would start it. This winter, we moved into a smaller worship space and I used a little Bluetooth speaker I had. When we moved back into our larger space, I wanted to continue to be able to run the sound from a tablet, but our soundboard/ amp thing didn't have bluetooth. So I got this, got an adaptor and ran it right into one channel on our board. Since the board takes a larger plug than this has, I did have to get an adaptor. But I suspected I would and ordered one of those when I got this receiver. Now, when we have some hymn or recorded music, I just have my tablet, open that file, hit play and it starts. Several of my older members seem pretty confused, they think I am doing magic or something, put a button at the pulpit and the music starts. I do have to get it "connected" before the service as it does say "waiting for connection" and "connected." But I am a good 20 feet away from the board, and no problem at all staying connected during the service.I used it for 2 weeks (two Sunday's) and then forgot to shut it off. So week 3, I plugged in a portable power supply (battery pack) to charge it as the service was going on. After the service I brought it home, plugged it into the wall and gave it a full charge. No problem going for a few hours, two Sunday's, but it was dead after a week (as I would expect). Just have to remember to shut it off, and bring it home every few weeks to give it a charge. It is perfect for our church, small, was easy to install, and it easy to use.

Amazingly inexpensive and small device, yet works well and has a relatively long range. Can be used as a transmitter or receiver. Audio quality appears to be good, but have only used it with a small bluetooth speaker, so I haven't really tested quality. May order another one... maybe 2 more, just to have. The only downside, and I'm sure this can't be helped, is that when I turn off my portable speaker, this device wants to pair with something. It keeps popping up on the screen of my iMac, wanting to pair with it. I would buy again.

On long flights, my wife normally uses her Sony CH-700 headphones, for the added convenience of noise cancelling, while enjoying a better audio quality, than the one delivered by the standard wired ear buds provided by the service on board. But I observed she normally had problems with the wired connection, because the wires would get entangled with the night cover the irlines provide. Therefore, and in order to minimize cabling, I looked for a Bluetooth Tx that would have its own energy source to avoid the cabled connection between her headphones and the audio - jack and the usual USB Power cable these devices are provided with. I looked up the highest amazon rating reviews, before ordering, and I was gladly impressed by the audio performance of the unit I purchased. I was curious, however how it would work on the airplane, with so many other bluetooth devices in the neighborhood. In order not to experience problems on the plane, I paired her headphones with the Tx/Rx put in Tx mode prior to boarding. When she turned her headphones on, once on the plane and simply leaving the Tx/Rx device in the seat pocket, results were outstanding. And since the battery life on both devices is similar, about 5 hours, she could use the system for the whole 12 hour flight (considerng sleep time) without having to worry about recharging and not experiencing problems associated to the cables.

Pretty easy to use and does the job well. Sound quality is great. Excellent bang for buck. Takes literally 2 seconds to get up and running. (dust in photo is from my TV lol, 50 cent coin for scale)Thought the USB was for charging/power but it can actually be used on USB capable devices without the 3.5mm 'headphone' cable. Plugged it into one of my PC's USB slots without the 3.5mm cable and Windows instantly recognised it and set it up as an audio device. Streamed no problems. My computer and sound system's are at opposite ends of the house with a couple of walls in the way so signal range and strength seems to be good.Any way PC aside, I actually bought this for my TV as I own a bluetooth enabled surround sound system and my Sony 'smart' TV that has bluetooth won't connect to it.Plugged the Bluetooth Transmitter into the TV's headphone jack, paired it to the surround sound and worked instantly. Sound is as good as when I was connecting with cables. No delays/lag so audio is perfectly synched to video. Got the USB cable plugged into one the TV's USB sockets to keep it powered. Stays paired even when the TV is off. Turn the TV and sound system back on and they're connected. The text in the manual is almost microscopic, so if you have eyesight issues you might want a magnifying glass. My eyesight is pretty good, but I scanned the manual and enlarged it on my PC to read. Not to worry setup is pretty easy as it's literally plug and play and press the power button for 2 seconds.Only thing people should be mindful of is while this device 'remembers' the last device it was plugged into, if that device is not on when you turn this bluetooth dongle on it will scan for a device and try to pair with it, so make sure you have no other bluetooth devices enabled except for the one you want to connect to.In my case I restarted my TV before my surround sound and the device tried to connect to the TV's bluetooth. aka the device it was plugged into lol. Easily fixed with a 2 second button press and disabling my TV's bluetooth.Only con I would say is when pairing the LED flashes red, when it's powered on and in TX (transmit) mode, the LED is also a solid red (it's solid blue when in RX/recieve mode.) so it might be difficult to see that it is flashing when it's trying to pair as a transmitter. (I had to look at it from angle to see it was flashing.) but this is a very very minor con.Now to be clear this next bit is a issue with my TV and NOT the Isobel Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter and just something for Android TV users to be mindful of. (I have not had any issues with any other device I have tried.)If your television is an Android TV and is capable of doing audio out via USB, recommend disabling that function via the android developer settings. On my TV (Sony Bravia 2015) I tried just using USB sound, no 3.5mm cable and it worked kinda. Normally if I plug in USB headphones it disables the TV's speakers and I get audio only through the headphones. With this sound still came out of the Television as well as the sound system I was bluetoothing to. Telly sound was low volume and couldn't be muted as well as increasing or decreasing volume via the TV remote did nothing. (Sound on surround sound system wasn't as good either)It kind of got stuck like this so had to factory reset my TV to fix it. Disabling audio output via USB on the TV and everything works just fine.Again, NOT the bluetooth transmitters fault, just the way my TV is wired I guess. I'm happy with this device. It is waaaay better than I expected for 20 Aussie bucks.I'm so impressed I'm going to buy another one to use with my phone and wired headphones so I can 'free' my phone. Seriously if you need a portable bluetooth transmitter/receiver give this a go.Anyway if you made it this far, great! Thanks for reading.
