Easy to use and see voltage so you don't have to pull out the volt meter. Makes it a lot quicker to check things. Great idea and great buy

Not used it yet, but looks well made, it will be taken the place of my standard 12V tester

Wow, great little unit here. Always had basic lighted units and the DVM readout is awesome. I didn't know how much I'd appreciate that aspect, lol. Not sure why I never grabbed this before.Great length of cable and overall seems quite nicely made. Somewhat unexpected quality for the price point. DVM readout is easy to see with these old eyes. I'm quite pleased and imagine you will be as well.

Best light tester yet that I’ve bought it was cheaper then ones off the tool trucks and I like the display screen easy to use and clear and for the price it was a steel

Here we have a great concept. A handy, easy to use, circuit tester without the complexity of a meter. For four months, I hardly touched my digital volt meter, just used these to maintain the four marine engines under my care. But...all are not created equal. On the left in the photo you see the black cord Winamoo Upgraded 3-72V Automotive Circuit Tester. On the right you see the red cord JASTIND Heavy Duty 3-48V Backlit Digital LCD Circuit Tester. The Winamoo black unit's clamp is easy to use and well insulated. The Jastind red unit's clamp is cheap stiff plastic insulation always falling off and very hard to squeeze the clamp which does not open wide enough even for a threaded battery terminal. Then note the cheap repurposed screw driver handle on the red Jastind. The Winamoo is larger, sturdier and easier to position in your hand. As for the black vs. red cord, the black is flexible, thicker, obviously higher quality and much easier to use. The red Jastind cord is cheap, stiff plastic, hard to stretch out over several feet when testing real world loads. The black Winamoo has an integral tip guard. The Jastind has no integral guard to protect you from that sharp tip. The black Winamoo includes a very useful polarity light and task light. The Jastind does not offer these features. Neither unit is fused for current protection and there is no over voltage protection. Note the red logic module on our red cord Jastind failed on us and we surmise, since they sell replacemens on Amazon, that this is a frequent occurence. Note the Winamoo has a higher voltage rating which may make it more insensitive to failing with certain loads and it has not failed yet although we have only used it a few times to date. The Winamoo black cord product is useful in real world applications like ours where we are maintaining several ocean going fishing vessels. The red cord Jastind device is frustrating in use. Pay a dollar or two more and get the Winamoo!

This test light is easy to use and it is convenient to not only have the light indicate a connection but to also read available voltage. My one complaint is that the alligator clip is too small to open up enough to actually clamp around a battery post. The alligator clip itself seems strong but barely opens up enough to clamp on a screw/bolt head.
