The hose and connection to the c02 tank are fine after tightening, but the adapter to the soda machine itself leaks.It should only release air when the tab is depressed but it is constantly releasing air. Caused a couple gaskets on my soda streams to fail. Once that happens, there will be a steady leak.

Just buy it. People who have issues didnt install it right. I own a drink mate and 5# co2. Hook up is easy. You just need to use a wrench and the included washers to make sure its really on. Been using for a few months now no issues. Saves tons of $

At first I thought I had gotten a defective hose set. I’m using this to adapt a 5lb CO2 tank to a Drinkmate machine. The screw connection to the machine itself is great, as is the a quick connect. The end that goes to the track itself uses a nylon washer. Make sure you tighten that up really hard. Like, hard as you can hard. Anything less than that and it hisses and leaks. I’d recommend getting a keg wrench. Once I tightened it down it was great. Overall a much better value than swapping out those small canisters.

i just went to Airgas and asked for a 5lbs co2 tank for my carbonator. 150$ for the filled tank and then 30$ a fill after. i live alone so it will last a while.simply clipped off the shipping zipties of the adapter hose, checked the o-rings were pre-installed (they were) and hooked it up.its easiest to just remove the quickdetach adapter piece and screw it into the carbonator, then reattach the hose to the QD adapter. no leaks and no need to adjust it.quality hose at an affordable price.

I use 20 lb CO2 tanks to refill Soda Stream canisters. But the problem is that I end up with several lbs of CO2 still in my big tanks when they no longer have enough pressure to refill the small tanks. I hate exchanging tanks with that much gas still in them, so I got this hose to hook up to my big tank when it won't fill the small ones anymore. I've been able to continue to carbonate bottles until the whole 20 lb tank is empty this way. Seems to be a high quality hose, and I have had no problems with it.

So far no leaks! Took of the quickconnection and just connected directly as a lot of reviews said the quick connect is a fail point.
