The glove seems to work OK the dogs like it, but there was a hole in the thumb so my wife had to sew it up. Craftsmanship of the making of the product is pretty poor. We’ll see how long it lasts.

It was of a poor quality. The product description showed that it was a Delomo Brand. But I don't see any packaging from Delomo. It was wrapped in a plastic sheet. The material is of very poor quality.

Works so well, when I slip these on my cat becomes a purr machine and stands still for the grooming. She gets so much attention and she gets groomed at the same time! Perfect for long haired cats.

For something that looks as ridiculous as a pair of studded oven mitts, they work well on my cat. She's a medium hair cat so brushing is a must but she didn't like slicker brushes. I saw these, thought what the heck, lets try them and now I'm here giving them a 5 star review. My cat LOVES THESE. I undo the velcro on the gloves and she literally RUNS to where I'm at to get petted and brushed with these. I like them because they're pretty easy to get the fur off of, if they need washing it'll just be a rinse with cold water, and they're inexpensive. I never thought I'd be reviewing cat brushing gloves but after the joy they bring my cat, I figured they deserved it.

The fur was literally flying everywhere as I used these massage gloves. German Shepherds are notorious for shedding. Try having a white one. I took her outside and started the massage. She didn't groan in ecstasy, but she stood quietly while I used the gloves on her. She didn't try to run away. What I liked was that, unlike the brush, which I'm only comfortable using one directional, I was able to massage in all directions, loosening both the top coat and the undercoat. The fur was coming off like nobody's business. It was everywhere (I had to wash my clothes afterwards because I was covered in it - so were my shoes). After a thorough massage, I got out the brush and gave her a brushing to remove any more loose hair. I had trouble peeling the hair off the gloves, and I guess they'll get thrown in the wash, too (on hand wash cycle). The area of the patio where I massaged her was covered with hair. Much more than when I brush her. My husband brought out the shop vac and vacuumed it up. I hope it will cut down on the amount of fur in the house, but time will tell. In the meantime, I'm glad we have a Roomba. I think it's going to take massaging, brushing and using the Roomba pretty much every day to keep us from being smothered in white fur.10/28/22 Update: The gloves are still working great. I've tried several other deshedding implements, and these are the gentlest and work the best. Our dog may have sensitive skin, because other deshedding "brushes" seemed to bother her, while she enjoys the massaging. Believe me, fur flies everywhere! We have to vacuum the patio afterwards. I give her a quick brush with a regular dog brush afterwards to get all the loose fur still clinging to her. The gloves really loosen up the undercoat without hurting her. I usually have to clean each glove (they get completely matted with fur) at least once before I'm finished and again when I finish. I use a regular dog brush to clean the gloves, and no, it doesn't get all of the fur off of them, but most of it. I haven't tried washing them yet.Update 12/3/22: I'm changing to 5 stars. No brush works as well as these gloves for removing fur from our "fur factory" German Shepherd. I occasionally wash the gloves on a hand wash cycle and air dry them. We need to groom her daily, but if we do, it cuts down on the fur in the house enormously. I feel more comfortable using the gloves because white shepherds have sensitive skin, and I know the rubber nubs on the gloves are gentle. My husband and I still end up covered in white fur after grooming her, as does the patio, but that's the price we pay for our gentle white giant.

Let me start by saying that I purchased these gloves specifically for my eldest cat, who refuses to be brushed and would rather hack up hair balls. After 15 years of this, her issue with hairballs has become a major health concern and I decided it was time we tried a different brushing/grooming solution and I can tell you right now, I wish I had just went ahead and bought these gloves sooner. It's not often I go out of my way to write a good and honest review, but I'm so content with my purchase I felt the need to share my experience. I don't know how well these gloves perform with dogs, so for those reading who don't own cats, you can move onto another review. But for those of you with brush-stubborn cats, these gloves are worth trying!I have two cats, and after a few attempts at brushing casually, I've come to find they're still a bit weary of the gloves and both of my cats accept brushing from them in their own ways.My eldest cat will come find me and meow in my face until I've gone through a check list of things I assume she's meowing about (food, water, clean litter, attention, etc...) and when all else fails, I bust out the gloves and pet her until she tries to walk forward, firmly grasp around her chest area and let her walk out of the grasp as I brush her whole body area to the tip of her tail while she walks out of my grip. She then looks back at me and gives me her 'meowpurr of approval' to rinse and repeat. All this tail chasing lasts for about 5 minutes before she starts doing the 'tail-twitch of annoyance' and we call it good. This is the only way I'm able to brush her, she won't accept the gloves otherwise. The amount of hair I'm able to remove off her in these 5 minutes is seen in the attached photos, and I think the photos do a good job speaking for themselves in terms of hair collectionMy youngest cat however, does not care much for the gloves unless she's seeking to take a nap in my lap. In this case, she absolutely LOVES the gloves and will let me brush her for hours and I'm able to collect even more hair than seen in the attached photos. She is also pretty stubborn about cat brushes and this is the only solution I've found that works. With all of that out of the way, I agree with many other reviewers stating the gloves are difficult to clean. Hair comes right off of the fingers but the palm areas seem to be more difficult to remove all of the hair built up, whether following instructions and spritzing with water before grooming, or not using water at all. The water does help with cleanup, but it's not 100% in removing all of the hair it collects. It's not a huge deal for me but worth noting. Oh also the gloves seem a little cheap in terms of craftsmanship but they are comfortable and do a great job on cats. I removed a star for this reason, not necessarily because of clean-up.In conclusion, I absolutely love these gloves. It's sicking to me how much hair my cats would have ingested, just in the short amount of time I've been using the gloves. And that makes me happy knowing they're not swallowing all of it anymore and I feel confident that we'll see improvements with hairballs moving forward, not to mention the amount of hair that will no longer be collecting on the floors (:

Got two of the cheaper blue gloves that are all over Amazon. Nothing special or advanced about these. Just buy one of the blue gloves and get on with your life. As far as utility goes - my cat doesn't like it at the moment and it doesn't seem to pick up much of his hair - but will try again when he grows a bit more. Generally disappointed in this purchase.
