The setup works great. I think a wrench should be included in the kit. The line is very stiff and does not stretch out.

I've waited a long time for this, the price was finally right to pull the trigger and ordered it so I can finally get my sodastream running again. 5lb tank with this adapter works marvelously, even comes with two spare gaskets which you may need down the future so don't lose them. Just make sure the hose end to the 5lb tank is snug with an adjustable wrench or else it will leak out when you open the tank. The gauge on the side is great and gives an accurate reading of just under 900psi

me gusto bastante, la manguera es muy delgada pero se ve muy resistente se le nota el trenzado metálico para aguantar la presión del tanque de Co2

I have another similar hose that feeds my Soda Stream that is connected to a 5lb Co2 cylinder. This hose works fine but is braided and very stiff. I thought I would try this hose as it is more flexible. It worked great for about 8 days. I noticed the my tank of Co2 only lasted about 8 days or so and needed to be replaced. Normally, I can go about 6 weeks. I thought the tank might have been light or some other problem but the place that I swap them out said the 5lb tanks are the only ones they weigh to verify they are full so getting a light one wasn't likely.I connected the new tank and this new hose and adapter. After about 8 days I noticed there was no pressure going into the water bottle. I checked the new tank and there was plenty of pressure left.I disassembled the connection and plugged in a regular Soda Stream canister and all worked fine. Then I plugged to new hose back in and the valve that connected to the Soda Stream leaked audibly. I tried to tighten it but risked breaking the soda stream so I replaced this hose and adapter with the old braided on and everything worked just fine.I am guessing there was a slow leak that accounted for why the first tank ran out so fast. The the valve failed altogether and the leak became audible.Liked the flexibility but perhaps their QC could be better. Can't recommend this system at this point.

I use this on a tank i rent from a distributor instead on mailing the small CO2 tanks to soda stream all the time. Small investment and works fantastic. I make about 10 to 15 bottles of bubbly weekly and with my own charging station I do not have to run to the PO every two weeks for the smaller bottles to arrive. Large tank last about 9 months and on 40.00 to refill

Despite having Australian-specific notes in the instructions, the supplied parts are totally unsuitable for Australian conditions. I've wasted so much money trying to get this hose working its not funny. Complete waste of time and money. Wish I'd never bothered. None of the parts fit soda stream machines sold in Australia or CO2 gas bottles supplied in Australia. Basically a scam.

I have to admit I was pretty skeptical. I have one of the first and simplest Sodastream makers (canister holders) and figured there might be some serious issues retrofitting an old but full CO2 canister my brother in law cast off from his old keg fridge. Didn't I need a regulator? Was this going to blow the seals? was that hose going to be strong enough? After using this for several months I can say that this is everything you need. No regulator needed - the gauge shows a constant near 1000 psi. I cut a notch in the bottom of my Sodastream to accommodate the hose through the base and it works great. In the first month I had a couple issues with some kind of back-pressure, but there is a bleeder valve near the pressure gauge, so it's easy enough to cure. Really no issues since then. Maybe eventually this setup will kill the seals, but so far, in savings it's paid for itself, and a replacement Sodastream base if it comes to that.Update: was having an issue again with not getting CO2 through the nozzle, so I went through the process of tearing everything down to see if there were issues with the seals. After looking at how the entire system is designed, I wound up resolving the issue by running a small needle through the end of the nozzle that injects into the water bottle to dislodge some piece of debris that found its way into the system. This is something that could happen even with the regular bottle exchange - and is perhaps even more likely with more frequent changes. After examining the connections and essentially very simple design of the system, I can say with a fair amount of confidence that you would be extremely unlikely to have "seals" fail (and that cleaning a blocked nozzle is something that can be done without tearing down the entire system). If the bottle is over-full, you can get some leakage through the pressure seal especially on the first injection, but after air drying between uses, it's an occasional minor annoyance that is easily prevented by either not exceeding the fill line or using a more gentle press on the first injection.
