This resin hasn't proven very easy to get to harden. Part of that might be that I'm in Alaska, and there's little strong sunlight to be had outside of the summer month. When I've tried to scrape it smooth, the resin peels up from the pit or bullseye. The kit includes strips of film to contain the resin until it cures. I think the resin would more effective with a suction syringe and pressure injector, like I've seen used effectively on YouTube. While this product hasn't worked to make chips disappear, I hope it will at least keep them from spreading. Hopefully I can effect a better repair next summer if I don't just replace the windshield by then.

Not what i expected to repair the crack in my windshield. The scraping off when needed scratched my windshield.
