- 1. Connect the PAP2 device to the router with a network cable. The phone is also connected to the PAP2 device and connected to the power supply.
- 2. After the PAP2 device is started, press the phone's :**** (four ''*'' keys) until the phone announces in English. My VIOP provider issued hardware that did not work with my fiber modem so I purchased this unit as a substitute and it works like a champ! Crystal clear, no delay/lag. The LED status lights are a little bright but I put a piece of masking tape over them and it muted the brightness perfectly. As all modems, the user interface for entering settings is confusing unless you have hard-core IT knowledge. But this is an industry-standard problem so I won't downgrade that basis. I'm happy this hardware works for me when other brand didn't.

I was concerned it was locked and the seller didn't know locked from unlocked. But it was unlocked and worked just fine! Seller is an excellent resource for this type of equipment.
