I like the "cone" style washer that fits down in the hole.I feel it is better to seal.

These bolts fit my, very old, American Standard toilet just right. The toilet in our basement bathroom is at least twenty years old, so I worried that the parts for the tank might be 'other than' today's standard size; however, these bolts fit just right and stopped the leak caused from the old worn bolts/washers.

The stainless steel makes these a great option for clamping toilets, as intended, and the included rubber washers are of good quality. The centering washer is particularly helpful for clamping down toilets. But I am not using this as intended: I am using this nice set of stainless steel hardware to make a plane blade sharpening guide by adding a pair of bearings. The rubber washers are a bonus addition to my assembly as they will grip the blade tightly, though I did have to trim them to fit my bearings and swap the washers with some better sized for my bearings.
