Very good sturdy quality seat. I weigh 215 lbs and it held me up just fine in my 13ft ocean kayak. I had to manufacture seat mounts for it because my ocean kayak is an old Malibu x2 . Worked great!

Game changer for my back. It worked really well on top of my kayak seat. I have a sit on top kayak. I do have good balance. If you don’t have good balance you might need to adjust it some.

I've tried a few kayak seats before, but this one is by far the best. It’s super comfortable, and the back support is excellent. The seat is also very lightweight, which is a huge plus when transporting my kayak. I’m thrilled with this purchase.

The seat itself is wide and cushioned. The backrest adjusts with a strap that unfortunately because of my height 5'2" rubs the inside of my arm sometimes when I'm paddling. This wouldn't be a problem for a larger person. Also it doesn't come with any attachments to strap it to a kayak or sup. We have tons of straps and Were able to configure a functional tie down to our d rings on the SUP. On the IK it fits snuggly so I only secured it with one tie down. It's heavy at just over 5 lbs and at that weight they could've made a back rest that clicks to adjust so the straps on the side wouldn't be an issue. It would work well on a canoe or raft if you know how to secure it. It is sturdy
