The step makes tie downs on the car roof rack much much easier.

Nice idea, not executed well enough. Wobbly, you don't feel safe standing on it. If you want to use it on a van side door latch (at least the Chrysler models but I'm guessing more than that) it's definitely a no-go.

I got this mostly to dry the roof and sunroof of a 2012 Toyota highlander after a car wash. It is very solid and works great. The highlander has pretty high latches but it is still stable enough I am not worried about problems.

I have tried multiple styles of the same product. This one is actually very sturdy, and durable. It is very easy to use, and works great. It grabs onto the latch that holds your car door shut. Once connected, it is very secure, and let you get up high, for dealing with luggage rack, or even just cleaning the roof. Great product, great price, great fit, works exactly as advertised, and designed. Highly recommended.

This is a very well built step. It securely clamps into the striker of most modern vehicles door jamb and has an adjustable support leg. This works well to use to access the roof of our very tall Ram truck for waxing. Folds down to a compact size that is easy to store. 5 stars for quality and value.

I used it on my 2015 pilot to load up the roof rack and....well....it works. It is easy to install and is nice quality materials, but I did notice that when using it, it was pulling on my door jam sheet metal. That was with me weighing 180lbs. Besides that which i noticed, everything else seemed fine.

I used this on a 08 toyota highlander and it worked well. To put it on you need to keep it closed then open it up to adjust to the door frame. It felt most secure with a slightly upwards angle. The overall door step was very robust and at 220lbs there wasn't any give. I bounced a bit and the car started to bounce to and i stopped. The foot touching the door jamb didnt mar the paint either. Dont always need it, but when you do its super helpful.
