Works great. Got a replacement remote from the light/fan manufacturer and it worked like crap. This one is great. Can be in the next room and still controls the lighr

Module that fits in fan housing bigger than some and very hard to fit in.The worst part is the lights barely dim.Would not purchase this item for that reason alone.

This remote was fairly easy to install on a ceiling fan. It works quite well and has a display. We enjoy using it.

Most kits that will turn a ceiling fan wireless will have the exact same receiver that you mount inside the fan. But what makes this kid more appealing than any other is 1. The remote and 2. the accessories. I have installed many of these, converting our home into a smart home, so I think that including the quick connectors is a great way to make an installation easier, especially for the first-time installer. As you can see in the images, there will always be a nest of wires, but attaching one side first, then attaching the other side by sliding in the wire then snapping it into place is so much easier than trying to bundle multiple wires with a twist on connector. Especially when you are up on a ladder in an awkward position. The remove with the display makes it look more modern and elegant than some other fan remotes you'll find. They all do the same, but if this one is mounted to the wall or visible, it gives it a more sleek look. With that said, this is the third of these devices I have installed and interestingly, you'll find the same product from various sellers on here. From what I can tell, they are all the same. Just double-check the "antenna" of the receiver. One unit I received had a bit of wire poking out of the insulation, which caused a short and broke the received when it touched the frame of the fan. But replacement was a non-event.

I had to return this product. The wiring doesn't match the existing wiring on my fan or in my house. And the way their Instructions tell you to wire it make sense. Also, I followed the directions carefully and it never worked properly. I'm glad it worked for some people. It just wasn't effective for me. I ended up going to Home Depot and paying twice as much but, the wiring matched perfectly to the wiring in my house and on my fan. Blue to blue black to black white to white. The Home Depot fans, though twice the price was much simpler and straightforward no nonsense. Also, when done installing the Home Depot version, it worked perfect no issues. So buyer be careful this may not match the wiring. Your fan has and you will be forced to follow directions which did not work for me.

Easy to swap out, nicer remote than the OEM and way less money than the big box stores.

simple to install, but disappointing for one main absent feature seen on other competing products.* Memory issue - there is no memory of the light intensity status from the last time the light was used. For example, if you usually use the light at 50% intensity, you will have to decrease the intensity from 100% to 50% every time you turn on the light. Disappointing!Note: LED ghost issue - A made-for LED solution (such as this remote control fan & light receiver) will not likely address any "LED bulb ghost" issues. LED bulb are so sensitive that they pick up energy from surrounding electrical sources (connected or not) and often do light up faintly, without any way to turn them off.

i got this remote control kit because my ceiling fan didn’t have one, and while it works, there are a few things to consider. installation was a bit tricky—I’m not an electrician, so I had to watch a few videos and be careful with the wiring. once it was set up, it did what it’s supposed to: fan speeds are easy to adjust, and the dimmer helps me set the mood in the room.what bothers me, though, is the range. i expected to control the fan from across the room, but it only works well if i’m close by. also, the buttons feel a bit cheap, and i’m worried they might wear out over time. it can interfere with other sets in the house f you hve more than one so you need to set the channel inside the box behind the plate so that they operate on their on range. worth noting BEFORE it goes behind the wall lol

The wires on the reciever are too short. I had to add additional wiring to complete the connection. The light fan could be turned on/off with the wall switch. I now have to turn it off/on with the remote only, which is not great. Update, I now have to push the button several times to get aby response. I highly recommend you pass on this.
