Cool little gadget. I work from home and even tho I have really good internet connection, once in a great while the ISP's connection goes out. I can use this little device to tether my cell phone data network through my router. Very convenient!

Tried it on two Android mobile devices, a Pixel phone and a Samsung tablet. Turned off mobile data and WiFi, verified no internet. Plugged the adapter into USB-C, no driver configuration needed. Connected a cable to my router and Voila! Ethernet at 400+ Mbps.

I bought two of these to switch my Firesticks network from Wi-Fi to ethernet. I specifically chose this version due to the Power Delivery (PD) to power the Firesticks. However, upon installation I realized that Firesticks use a Micro-USB connection and this device uses a USB-C connection. Luckily I happen to have a couple of USB C to Micro-USB adapters handy. Using the USB adapters, I was able to connect the ethernet adapter to my Firesticks but the Firesticks weren't recognized by my TVs. I suspected that the ethernet adapter was not providing power to the Firesticks even though I had them powered via the power delivery connection. Again, luckily the Micro-USB adapter included its own PD connection. Once I added power to the Micro-USB adapter, the Firestick recognized the ethernet connection and automatically began using it. The connection speeds are impressive with speeds up to 365Mhz download and 395Mhjz Upload. I did not remove a star from my rating for having to power the Micro-USB adapter because I consider my setup beyond what the ethernet adapter is intended for and because it ultimately worked.

No hassle to connect. Turned off WiFi to test on iPad Air. Showed Ethernet connection. Speed test was impressive with AT&T fiber 1GB connection. Would definitely recommend without hesitation.

Unlike the other adapter that I got from Amazon, which was giving me connection interruption issues after a month of using it, this one is nothing like that. This product has great quality. I use it every day, and it never disappoints. The USB port always fits just right, and you don't have to have any drivers for you to use this item. Sometimes it might get warm, or even other times it might get a little hot during heavy usage, but that's fine. My only recommendation is don't put your hand under it when holding your device because, with the previous device, I held my hand under it so that I leaned on the adapter port, and eventually the adapter malfunctioned at times. If you just leave it alone, it will do wonders.
