it’s fine. Easy to set up, but the materials are cheap - you could probably make something better yourself if you want to spend a little extra time doing so. It’s very loud rubbing against our wood floor when opening/closing the door, which is unfortunate as this is being used to block light in our nursery. Loud door + sleeping baby that you’ll do anything to keep asleep = bad combination. We wrapped a thin towel around and tucked up into either side to dampen the sound.

This is a great draft stopper (especially in Minnesota with our cold weather). The inserts are a little bigger than I thought that they would be but they still work at keeping the drafts out as well as in the case of our door, filling in the hole that the new threshold didn't cover so it keeps the mice out as well. Having more actual dimensions would help sometimes.

I live in my parents basement right next to the utility room and i used to get bugs in my bedroom CONSTANTLY, especially roaches 😭 until i bought this! now i NEVER see bugs crawling around in my room anymore! it also helps with the humidity getting in from the utility room too. it stays put under the door and glides over the floor very good. so glad i bought this!

Can use this with flooring or carpet. Tried others that I had to send back because it was a problem shutting the door with the carpet. One was so cheaply made that it kept rolling up on the door & you had to keep pushing it down. This is easy to install, keeps out drafts, light & bugs (that might crawl under if you have a large space as I do).

I bought this because I was looking for a door sweep that would work on carpet and this has a nylon/polyester type cover on it, which I thought would slide over the carpet better than something that was rubber or silicone, which I'd imagine would want to grab and resist the door from closing.This is easy to install, it does slide on the carpet pretty well, and I atleast can't see light under the door nor feel any noticeable drafting through or around it.My dislikes are that the material is loose fit around the door and the "Sponges" themselves, and creates a baggy excess that I found myself trying to roll/fold/tuck into itself so that it wouldn't get caught between the door and door frame/trim moulding while closing the door. The loop is useless, atleast for me it was. The velcro was a good idea, and the adhesive stuck good, but they should've just put it on both ends instead of the loop, which I feel would help center the whole deal under the door way better. It's a tad on the light side, some heftier "Sponges" (which are nothing more than a small diameter pool noodle) could probably help but it isn't a deal breaker.Overall for the price its fine, it does what it says it does and after getting figured out, it glides across the carpet without requiring extra effort while closing a door and it doesn't get caught or jammed in there.

This device was a great fix for my draft problem! My new place is great, but the doors are an older style and end a couple centimeters above the floor. The insulation factor was instantly noticeable after installation and much-appreciated! It was easy to cut the foam short and make it fit into the door. Plus, this was pretty cheap so I didn't feel bad about cutting it up. I would definitely recommend this for a draft problem!
