This product will help you get the exercise you need but it will not, and I can't stress this enough allow you to ride your desk at the bike park.

I bought this knowing it was not high quality but with hope it would be adequate for knee rehabilitation. It was not. The action was jerky and annoying, getting my feet into the bent pedal straps was extremely frustrating, and my heels kept hitting the rear support bar while I was pedaling. Lesson learned. I am returning this and will be replacing it with a better quality device.

I purchased this because I will be recovering from knee surgery and I am starting to use it now before the surgery to build up the muscles in my legs. It does have a little bit of a jerky motion to it while you’re pedaling, but I have figured out how to not push it so hard with my feet and that eliminates the slippage. I like the fact that it has a display of the time and how far you have gone, and you can turn the wheel to put a little bit more tension on the pedals. I’m sure when my physical therapist sees it when they come to my house after my surgery, they will be very pleased that I am using this .

I asked my wife for this for Christmas as a supplement to my recumbent exercise bike. My recumbent bike only exercises my lower body and I needed something for the upper. This is basically what hospital cardiac rehab units use for heart patients so I decided to try one. The price was right and it was easy to setup and it works great. This unit will become part of my workout routine now.It’s a very good product, inexpensive, simple and works great.

The bike itself works good, but the rubber strap for the pedal bends outward toward the metal holding the pedal and rubs on it so it is only a matter of time until that breaks the strap, and I’ve only had it for not even a day.

The device is Fine for the price, but I do wish I would have paid double for something much better.The pedals are... strange... they don't seem to be level correctly, so one demands a bit more pressure.secondly it weighs too little, making it move, even with the nonslip cloth bit.It does serve its purpose, but not pleasantly.

For the price - and I couldn't afford more - this a great little product. It's easy to put together. It's pretty sturdy, although we found it helps to place a heavy doormat under the non-slip mat. If you want a smooth turn of the pedals, rather than a feeling of coming to a dead stop every time you depress a pedal, then you need to experiment a bit to find the optimal distance of the machine from the chair - and also adjust your posture. But I found my happy medium within five minutes. OK, so it's not like cycling an exercise bike in a gym. But then look at the price.I bought this because my mum, 83, relies on going for long walks every day to keep fit and healthy, and she can't do that now, during this quarantine period. She's much happier now that she has this little bike (she likes to keep her feet in it constantly, and cycle when the mood takes her). I like it too. It does work the muscles, and is gently aerobic. And when it gets warmer I can take it outside and exercise on the patio, in the fresh air.
