Bought to return an item as it was delivered, this paper tape was a revelation. Easy to use and tear, but strong and held the box securely. You always wonder if the eco friendly options actually perform as they should and this one certainly does. Will buy again for sure.

These paper tapes are of good quality. We use them for our packages. It’s not reinforced, but adhesion is mostly good. Have not had any issue so far.

Ordered this on spec because I was tired of fighting plastic sticky tape. The are ways to preserve an end to grab and pull, but the last person who used it always forgot to employ one. This paper tape doesn't have the magnetic "grab" and it is easy to just dog ear the end to pull next time. I was afraid it would not be secure but it sticks and holds on cardboard boxes. I haven't tried it on plastic.

This tape is the greatest replacement for clear, plastic packing tape. It can be used guilt-free for any household purpose and is super strong. Of course, there is also zero plastic in the shipping, which is all too rare.

I bought this tape to use in my junk journals, and I’m very pleased with how well it sticks. The paper is also thicker than I expected, but it is matte and easy to write on. It would be great as a package-sealing tape, if a bit expensive. But if you want something that really seals your package, this is your tape. For me, it works very well to bind my book spines, and I feel confident that the adhesive will last a long time.

I don’t write many reviews on here but couldn’t not give some praise for this paper tape. It’s not the cheapest, but it really does pack a punch when it comes to being strong, sturdy, and sticking more securely than a limpet. It was brilliant for packing boxes for moving. With other tape, I’ve had to go over the box edges several times to feel confident enough that everything will stay stuck. With this, once piece is plenty, even with heavy items. As a vegan, I also appreciate the plant-based glue.The only gripe I have is that non-biro pens don’t work great on it (ink and paint pools on the surface rather than staying put) and labels also don’t seem to stick properly on top. I sent a parcel with a paid postage label stuck to the tape, and it came off in transit, leaving the recipient having to pay fees.All in all, worth the money.

I am not sure about the other reviews complaining about this product coming wrapped in plastic. To me it came in a paper box with no plastic wrapping, I guess the maker changed their methods?I have compared it to the well known brown packing tape.Pros:- it's made out of paper and it's supposedly biodegradable, not plastic- its adhesive is actually stronger than the brown tape when applying on carton boxes, it is definitively harder to remove- so it's just as strong or even stronger compared to the brown packing tape- it's easy to tear when applying, no need for a cutter tool, and it doesn't wrap around randomly --- this alone makes it the better optionCons:No description of the adhesive and the additives. I believe it has a resin layer that makes it water resistant and keeps the glue layer wet. I think these are not really biodegradable even though the paper content might be.It doesn't let water through so it can be used as masking tape for painting. Difficulties arise when you use it to hold carton paper pieces together while the PVA glue dries, obviously the glue does not dry under it.

**Updating after using 3 rolls and several back and forth messages from the seller**- I’m updating my rating to be slightly better, but my original opinion still stands. The tape does not stick to itself (it’ll peel up where it comes into contact with itself). If you are very conscious of this and tape your boxes with this in mind, the tape will function decently. While I do enjoy the other aspects of this tape (eco friendly, fits on a roller, tears by hand, and responsive customer service), I will still not be repurchasing when I run out. The seller was quick to respond to offer a refund after my initial review, but I declined because 1. I had already used some of the tape and didn’t feel right about getting a refund, and 2. I want my review to be completely unbiased and accurate of my experience with the productFirst off, I love the eco friendly aspect of this tape - that was a big appeal to me when ordering. After packing several orders with this tape, I have mixed opinions…1. The tape fits onto a roller, which is appreciated. It glides off the roll easily as well2. The tape can be ripped with your hands easily - think the equivalent of ripping masking tape in half. Which can be good or bad I suppose3. I wouldn’t call this heavy duty tape at all. It works decent, but I wouldn’t trust it to hold heavy boxes together4. My biggest complaint: it’s not very sticky. It sticks okay to cardboard, but it doesn’t stick onto itself very well at all. If you tape your boxes where the tape ends overlap, it will roll up easilyOverall, I’ll use up the rest of the rolls I have on hand, but I’m not going to repurchase more in the future. I should’ve bought 1 roll to try out first before committing to the 6 pack.

We moved in the hot summer and kept 80% of our boxes in storage for 6 months until after the first few freezes. The tape is still secure! It’s so much easier to just rip off what you need rather than using a blade in a tape gun or plastic dispenser. It’s very sticky and does a great job.
