Last one I ordered didn't last. Let's hope this one does. It does look sturdier than the previous one.

It wasn't too expensive, got here quickly and did the job I needed it to do. I have to give it 5 stars for these reasons.My personal use may be different. I was using this to retrofit an existing transformer that a handy man blew up by sending 240v to a unit that only accepted 120v max. It was tied into a circuit with 240 volts and separating it wasn't really an option.The cons of this item are that the terminals are quite small and can be a little difficult to use. It did accept the solid 12awg wire but not the 10awg on the line side. I don't fault the unit because these are likely not the wires it's intended to be used with

Looking for a replacement of the LED power supply that Philips has stopped production & found the closest suitable one in Amazon.Even though the max power of the original is 40W & this is more the 60W, I just needed to dim it in order to not overpower the LED.IT WORKS WELL!

The openings for both line and load sides are identical. They don’t line up with one of the terminals, but more importantly the clamp opening is too small for the plastic jacket on NMD or ROMEX wire. I had to cut it wider on the body and clamp. There is no ground to terminate since it’s all plastic. Not sure how this is safe enough for the cUL listing it has, or if the electrical inspector is going to fail it. Beware; NOT dimmable
