This capo is made for the wider neck of a classical guitar. It is strong, lightweight, has clean lines and an attractive design. I enjoy using this capo moreover others I've owned in the past 40 years. It's probably the nicest capo I've ever found for my needs. 5 stars all day long.

I have several of these capos and as my ukulele collection grows, I will probably buy more. I like the convenience of having a capo for each instrument. At this price, I can afford them.

My guitar capo works as designed. Unobtrusive, it grips with sufficient strength so that the strings ring out clearly, without rattling, so long as it is placed close enough to the desired fret. It appears sturdy enough to last me for quite a while. The picks are a bit small for my preference, but not enough to warrant anything less than 5 stars. As far as my experience with the seller, the package shipped without any problems, and I received it within two days of placing the order. Thank you!

After a lot of time looking I decided on the MEDORAYs capo. So far no problems to mention, happy with my choice.

The MEDIORAYS Ukulele Capo is a great little metal spring style capo for a tenor or smaller body sized ukulele. I’m not sure if it will fit a baritone ukulele, as I’ve never had one in hand. The spring action makes it fast and quick compared to the elastic band style capo (see last photo). I have been using the elastic band style because the ukulele that I had at the time was stored only in a lined fabric bag and I was afraid that a metal style capo stored in the pocket of the fabric bag, would end up putting dings into my ukulele. I now have other ukuleles that have hard cases with closed compartments for storing capos and other accessories. The Mediorays capo is very well made. The sections that press down on the strings and up on the back of the neck are lined with a thick band of silicon. It is very sturdy and I think it will also be very durable. The advantage of this metal spring loaded clamping style capo, is that similar to clip-on ukulele tuners, a simple squeezing action by the hand can put it in place. Moving it up and down the neck is accomplished by a simple squeeze to release it and set it on a different fret. This capo is listed at a very reasonable price and three stiff picks are included. I was recently at a ukulele festival and noticed that many of the attendees are up in years. Some older players may find that the degree of hand gripping strength required to use this capo, (which is reasonable and not inordinate) a challenge. However, the elastic band style capo requires hand strength as well, and the dexterity to thread the capo rod into the elastic band eyelets. That threading is not an issue with this style. This capo is listed as suitable also for a mandolin and a 4 string guitar. I’ve had my hands on mandolins before, and I think this will fit, and I think the squeezing power will be enough to push down on the 8 strings of a mandolin. I do not believe this capo is wide enough to work on the neck of a four string guitar, but I may be mistaken on this point. The grips on this capo are ergonomic on the outer (non moving handles) as it curves in. The moving hand grip has a slight lift to it and I find that it bites into my hand. This is not a big deal, but since, I have a can of “rubber dip” product, I will coat this moving handle with a layer of rubber to reduce the “bite”.
