These climbing sticks are great for moving around when you are hunting. They secure easily to the tree and hold up well.With the addition of an aider you can get more reach out of them without adding more sticks or weight. They are fixed and do not fold up but they get the job done.

These climbing sticks worked great for me this past hunting season. They are durable yet lightweight to carry around. Set up is a breeze and got me up to where I need to set up each time. The tightening knob was easy to use to grips well and firmly onto the trees. I had no issues with any of them bending or collapsing under my weight. Simple in design and portable.

I assembled the UIIHUNT Climbing Sticks and briefly braved the frigid temps to give them a quick trial. My initial reaction is that they should work fine and I'm anxious for the weather to warm up a little so I can work out a carrying system, get used to hanging them in order to do it efficiently, decide whether I want to use aiders to extend their reach, etc. I'll try to remember to update this review after getting in some practice with the sticks.

These are pretty nice climbing sticks for the price. So far I've been fairly impressed with most of the UIIHUNT products I've received. These are no exception. It's been too cold to do a side-by-each comparison with my other UIIHUNT sticks, or my Hawk sticks. Once these are assembled, they are solid and overall I would guess they're a bit lighter than my other sticks. The fixed steps are nice and large, and seem to offer an easy and intuitive spot to place my boots as I'm climbing. Other have mentioned the plastic versa-buttons. Based on my use of other products, I'm not too concerned about that.As mentioned, the steps are fixed, which might cause some packing issues. Also, these don't lock together like the others I own. I supposed that's part of the trade off for saving some weight. This seems to be more similar in style to many of the newer name brand sticks on the market, but overall they can still be stacked and packed pretty easy.The jury is still out and I will need to use them more before I can make a final judgement. I'll revisit this if need be but for now I'm comfortable giving them 4 stars.
