Iâm not sure how this company can sell life safety equipment made of such poor quality.I weigh 190-lbs and the metal support broke on my second step up the tree. As you can see from the pictures, the metal does not appear to be steel. Itâs made from some brittle metal. I would strongly recommend staying away from this.

I was unable to use the climbing belt/harness, It has no belt buckle to allow rapid donning of the gear, or tightening once it has been donned. I tried several times to get it adjusted- but it has to be loose enough to be donned, and after you don it cannot be tightened properly. Even tried to use it as a simple tool belt when climbing a ladder, it fell to my feet, will not bear the load of any tool or even a lanyard unless you are actively hoisting yourself with a rope. if you are finished with your job and want to descend down a ladder, fuggedaboutit. It also continually shifted when using a flip line and you cannot get comfortable in it. Cannot be secured or adjusted once you get it loaded. I was at height in a tree and it shifted and I was afraid I would flip inverted and would not be able to get down! I gave up on it and have ordered a conventional work positioning belt, osha certified. The climbing spurs are adequate for light occasional use, but be sure to use high sturdy boots. The climbing lanyard is fine.
