A very nice addition to those that use climbing sticks for trees. These simply hang on the bottom of a climbing stick to essentially add an additional step which allows you to place your climbing sticks further apart. They have built in loops to slide onto the climbing stick and helps to keep them in place. Great addition especially if your a saddle hunter.

I like to use this on the first step for my climibing sticks. Gains a little bit of height and comfort. It does the job it is designed to do very well and is a good value.

These work great, haven’t had any issues. They do take a little bit of getting used to when you first start using them, but once you’ve gotten it figured out it’s smooth sailing. Added quite a bit of height to my stick sets reach.

These climbing stick aiders are OK. Don't let the thin line fool you, because they appear to be UHMWPE, even though the material is not disclosed in the description. In any case, they do hold my 225lbs weight without stretching. The advantages of this material are its light weight and strength, but the small diameter is a bit of detriment in this application where some surface area and a bigger, stiffer line would be easier to step into. I have another brand that has a plastic flat step where this one has some tubing, and the one with a flat step is much better. I've also used climbing aiders made of flat webbing, and those are also more comfortable than these thin ones. This set comes with three, but, in practice, you really only need one aider on the bottom step. Adding more aiders gets a bit sketchy on the higher steps.Overall, these work as advertised and I trust them with my life, but they could be better with thicker line, flat steps, or made of webbing.

I just started saddle hunting this year and got these to supplement my 30" Hawk Helium climbing sticks. These went on quite easily to those stick, though a buddy of mine has the Tethrd One Sticks and we don't think they will work well on those due to the nature of the sticks. I was pleased with the construction of these aiders - good strong rope, well put together and sewed, and there is a semi-rigid plastic tubing over the rope to help ensure it retains its shape making it easier to put a boot into. That said, you do need to be careful using this, particularly on the way down, to make sure that your foot is in the loop enough as the tubing could spin on the rope. Here, again, we thought this wouldn't work as well with the Tethrd One Sticks because they aren't offset from the tree enough to get your boot into.I've seen some reviews stating that these are pretty short, however, at 15" these provide about the same length step I'm used to. Plus, I'm 5'8" and actually prefer slightly shorter steps. So these work great for me and I would recommend them!

This appears to be a nice set of aiders. They seem to be well made with nice materials, and they can be folded and packed up into a nice, compact package so they should fit in your dump bag without issue. I've seen other reviews were people are concerned about the synthetic line that's used, but I'm not sure why as this stuff is incredibly strong, and from using similar products holds up well. These aiders will add about a foot to each stick you use them with. It would be nice if they were maybe just a touch longer, but there's a point of diminishing return with aiders when the step height gets too great. I've also read about concerns that the rubber tubing for the step can spin. From my experience, this shouldn't be an issue of you use the aider correctly. If this ends up being an issue I'll be sure to edit this and make a note of it.All-in-all, this isn't a bad option, and for the price they were listed at when I picked them up, seem to be a very fair deal. I'm not sure you could build them for much less on your own.
