Tried several others and they either couldn’t handle 15v/4a or had a constant loud fan. This one allows for you to set 2 different voltage/amp presets and quickly alternate between the two. I use one for a small dc dehumidifier and sometimes need to directly charge a small 6v battery for a couple hours. Handles the 4a with temps above 80F ambient and dissipates heat from unit just fine without a fan. Took off one star for having to Google and search Amazon reviews for how to actually commit the preset to memory, and the ease of programming… but once you get it set, it’s easy to switch (and/or turn off unit)

Update to my original review:I'm changing my rating to 5 stars. There was NOTHING wrong with the product. The issue was on my side (not understanding the manual) and entirely my fault. At any rate, the unit is now up and running and working as expected so far. I will be sending out the replacement unit Amazon had sent me.Well the unit is nice and a good value for the money. It was pretty easy to figure out the menu structure. However, right out of the box it was malfunctioning. It displayed (and i confirmed through my multimeter) correct input voltage. But no matter what output voltage i selected, it would always deliver 0 volts. Returning and ordering another. Will update the review accordingly.

I connected the boost converter (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T137H2Y) to this adjustable power supply module (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LWXAC5E) on the output. And I have a Volt/Ammeter (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072BY4XZ7) on the input. All supplied by a 12V marine deep-cycle battery on the input. It was giving me 24v out from the start. I need 48v so I dialed this boot converter up to 50v, and fine-tune the output using the adjustable module. Been running for 2 weeks 24/7 and it's driving 7watts during the day and 15watts at night. No troubles so far! The output is powering a PoE ethernet hub that as a pair of PoE cameras (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V1WKRBB). It's all working really well! Once I'm done will the cameras, this will be my workbench power supply.

I used these to make portable power supplies for testing microcontrollers. I stuffed a small RC LiPo battery into a project enclosure (item B089K4KCQK), added an on/off toggle switch and a 2.1mm DC plug adapter (item B082GHXS1Q), and now I've got a fully functional digital power supply that is super tiny!Using 4s batteries as a power source, I can output 12v easily, and for my purposes I never go over 1 or 2A, so this power regulator is perfect for small electronics. It's really a great unit for all kinds of DIY projects, and is just begging to be used in portable applications.

Very happy with this product. It Powers my workbench parts and is doing a great job at it. If i am going mobile, i slap a 20v battery unto it and away I go. Love it.

It was as described, well packaged, with an excellent user manual. I was surprised by the documentation quality. The only problem I had was mounting it in a metal enclosure. I used the dimensions in the documentation and found them to be undersized by 2mm in the vertical and 4mm in the horizontal direction. Lots of filing later and they fit and look great.

Using this to regulate the power for my Raspberry Pi 3 stack with 2 Pi Plates and a 7" LCD. I'm using a 19.5V DC 3.5A laptop power brick to supply this regulator and the output is strong and constant. Because Pi projects mainly need 5V DC, voltage drop is a problem on my projects. Stock 5V power adapters just don't cut it for most of my projects. With this regulator I am able to adjust the output voltage precisely by 0.01V increments and get the 5V just right at the Pi. No more low voltage warnings!Pros:Precisely adjustable, reliable accuracy, clean display layout, color LCD makes it easy to quickly see the values I'm looking for, love having an on/off button, when off it still displays input voltage, shows current and power draw, can set memory for quick recall of different settings, does not get hot even in periods of extended use (days), very small unit for what it does.Cons:The one thing I don't like is that it is intended to be panel mounted and my applications don't give me that option normally. Not a problem, but would be great to include a small enclosure it can fit into. The adjustment knob is a bit big for such a small unit, but bigger may be better for those with bigger fingers.Improvement:It would be amazing if one of these regulators would be manufactured to fit in as a component with the Pi stack... I'd buy at least 4 more!!

The part works amazingly.I ordered one of these modules around a year ago and it worked incredibly well. I am always working on electronics project so I ordered a second one around 3 months ago, it worked well for a couple months but then started to turn off randomly. I contacted UCTRONICS customer service about the issue and after seeing the problem they sent a replacement right away. The replacement works just as well as the one that I've had for over a year now.The power supply is great for testing, or for a project that needs manual changes of voltage every so often. If you have an electronic project that needs a consistent voltage all the time I suggest purchasing a general voltage regulator preset to the specifications you need which won't cost as much or be as big, but this product could always be used for that purpose as well. I use it for testing all new parts or sensors I get which usually operate at different voltages and current, so if you have any plan for that type of use I highly recommend.
