I was going through our family's little collection of supplies for blackouts and w/e else and realized I had a bunch of beeswax tea candles but nothing to put them in/on. I wanted to get something that could encase them so they wont turn out to be a hazard around the house and I'm so happy I found this little lantern! we did end up with a black out later in the year on an especially snowy night and this little thing was so handy! gave us a nice little source of light till the power was restored. I was also pretty surprised how much warmth this little guy put out so we took it camping and it was also quite a boon for the tent for not only a nice easy hangable light source but it seemed to make our small tent a little warmer which was nice. will end up purchasing the larger 4 candle version in the future for our next camping trip but also again seems like a nice thing to have in case the power ever goes out again.

I love this product so much !I use it with beeswax candles, it gives it a Halloween-colored look- I like that it's a little lighting but strong enough that I can still see very well,if you want to have a small possibility of being unnoticed in the forest at night, in your tent or under a tarp, this is your candlewith a tiny tiny frying pan you could cook an egg on the mini round tray on top (but hold it while it's on)I accidentally touched it and it burns as soon as you light the candle lolBut the glass around the candle is never hot and that's good news

Que decir, pequeño pero maton, no ilumina como una linterna, pero te puede sacar de un apuro, aparte de que con 4 velas tienes luz para muchas muchas horas, dentro de una tienda de campaña ayuda a quitar condensacion, se le ve robusto y de buenos materiales, ya no sale de mi mochila.

I enjoy this tea light lantern and will be buying more. These are great for camping, fishing, power outages. Which is what I bought it for. The quality of materials used is fair to price. It came fully assembled with 3 candles was pleasing to look at and performed well. I was surprised how much light this lantern could squeeze out of a tea candle. Also they sell citronella tea candles that would go great with this!

Where the candle sits there is a collar. With the first one I bought this was appropriately low so the candle could sit on it. Not so with the second one I bought. The candle would not stay held by the little metal fingers around it because that collar was way higher than it should have been. I needed it so I took a Dremel tool and ground down the collar. This was definitely a manufacturing defect.

Thin glass, aluminum bit is about as sturdy as a soup can. You're not going to be walking around with this thing in the woods if you have good sense. It is a great little nightstand light or a great little light to read by.Paired mine with the bolsius 8 hour tea candles, you can find right on Amazon as well

I love this little lantern, Its well designed absolutely functional.It easy to travel and store in a go pack.I will buy three more as gifts for my family.It came with candles and a carry bag.To optimize it I'm buying bees wax candles so I can show offfor a longer period of time.

Very nice, sturdy tea-candle lantern that should serve you well. An important feature about this lantern, its hook is built into the body of the lantern itself, unlike many cheaper lanterns where the hook is attached to a twist-on lid. Many of these twist-on lid closing mechanisms are dubious at best. Think of it, you're hanging a burning candle and you want to make sure it stays hanging and doesn't come apart with a jostle or breeze. This lantern is safe and secure.Don't think you can wrong with these if you're looking for a camping or power-outage, tea-candle lantern.
