Breeze Bay FAN-HD6 Reverse Ceiling Fan Remote Control with Reverse
This FAN-HD6R remote controller is manufactured by the original OEM.
This package does not include a Receiver or 9V battery.
This remote have 6 buttons, 3-Speed (HI/MED/LO) and OFF for fan speed control, LIGHT/DIMMER for dimming control, REVERSE for fan speed reverse.
Light dimmer just controls the brightness of the incandescent lights and dimmable LED lamps.
Most LED lights and all CFL lights are Not Dimmable, and the remote only control the On/Off in that case.
Ceiling Fan Remote Control Replacement
- This ceiling fan remote is replacement for the Hampton Bay/Hunter FAN-HD/UC7078T REVERSE remote.
Check the part number on the back of your original remote, it need to have one of the FCC ID/Model numbers listed below.
FCC ID / Model:
- L3HMAY97FANHD / L3H2003FANHD / L3H2010FANHD / FAN-HD HD6 with Reverse
- CHQ8BT7078T / CHQ7078T / UC7078T with Reverse
- RR7078TR with Reverse
These models of remote controls are working on the same frequency and have the same function.
If this replacement works on a different frequency than your original remote control, it can not replace your original remote even they looks very similar.
Please make sure the FCC ID/Model of your original remote control is suitable before purchasing.
Setting the Codes
You need set the same DIP codes on the transmitter to match the receiver inside your ceiling fan before using.
Look the DIP Codes inside the original remote with the battery cover off, the DIP switches hidden behind the slot for the battery as picture shows.
Slide the switches in the new remote to match the same pattern as the original remote.
Replace the battery in the new remote and things should work.

We have an older fan that we installed from Home depot 17 years ago. The original one broke, then the other replacement broke a few years ago, this is my 3rd remote in 17 years. Just had to open and adjust the switches to my old one and works fine. Came with battery.

Great replacement, easy “install” (all you do is set the switches to what your previous remote was. If you don’t know what your previous remote was, the fan itself has some switches that you can check and then set). Works great.

I moved into a house a few years ago that has a Hampton Bay light and ceiling fan fixture in the primary bedroom. The remote never did work very good, you had to turn it every which way and even walk around the room and point it at the ceiling fixture to get it to work, the buttons were hard to press. And it's set up so you could only operate the fan if you use the remote to turn off the light at night. Kind of inconvenient. But finally it quit working all together and I was forced to buy another. SO GLAD to have found this replacement. It works better than the other one ever did, no need to point it directly at the fixtures or walk around the room trying to find a spot to make it work, a slight touch of the buttons and you get results.As for INSTRUCTIONS. The ones I got said not to use the settings from the old one on the new one, that they had to be reset somehow, someway. I don't remember exactly what they said now, I kind of winged it. Put a battery in and upon immediately trying the replacement, I found it worked on the settings it came with (after a couple tries, it seemed to just zone in), so all four tabs in the up position, which matched up to the old remote. Very happy to have found this, little things really do make life easier!

I have a Merwry 52inch ceiling fan. I ordered this as a replacement for the remote to the Merwry since they don't sell the remote as an individual product and force you to purchase both remote and receiver (laaame).Anyways, the remote works, but the dimmer feature doesn't. It just turns the light either on or off so whatever brightness level you had the ceiling fan set to previously, you're stuck at that level. I've tried keeping the button pressed in for the dimming feature, but no luck. Other than that, it controls the fan speeds and turns it on/off. You just have to make sure you have the frequency switcher matched to that of the ceiling fans receiver.So if you're cool with just the functionality of the fan spinning and no dimming feature, this will work. However, if you're like me and like setting the mood by dimming the lights, you'll instead kill the mood when you shut the lights off completely and trip over the coffee table and break everything and ruin an otherwise perfectly good opportunity to get lucky. Also now you need a new coffee table. Way to go.
