Got this for my 98 Tacoma. The original started to bind and broke a gear on the temp knob on the panel. Looks well made, moves nice, and an was easy replacement.

The original part lasted 18 years before it started to leak so i purchased this new part. I installed it in February when the weather started to get warmer so I did not touch the heater until October when the weather began to change. I probably turned the heater from hot to cold a half dozen times before i started to smell the same burning antifreeze i smelled when the original part started to leak on the hot engine. Long story short this part was defective, probably started to leak soon after touching the heater and when i emailed the seller about how it was still under warranty I got no response over refund or replacement of the product.
