I'm sometimes hesitant to buy non-OEM parts, but we plan to keep the Prius only a few more years (300K on it already), so I took a chance. This part fit perfect and worked and is still going strong. Can't beat the price vs OEM, and I was able to get this in just a few days.

Put in car and after short time got the same error code and I’m going to have to replace the part again. The labor is timely and the process is long. Such a hassle to deal with and not worth buying from this seller. Save yourself the hassle of having to replace this cheap part in less than a month and just buy a better quality part.

I changed out this coolant diverter valve years before (twice with after-market versions) without resolving my P1121, so I lived with the emission light being on. Happy to say that I decided to try one more time and bought this valve. Well, this one fixed the issue.Changing out the valve will only take one hour max. The challenge is refilling the coolant in a Gen 2 Prius. It takes a while. There is an air bleed valve on the top of the radiator, which is accessed via a small hole and a 5mm allen wrench. Using this hole and some tubing, you can fill the radiator up faster. Then, there's a trick with a wire jumper to get the coolant pump to fill up the coolant storage tank. But even doing all that, you will need to fill the overflow tank with additional coolant over the next month, as the system slowly gets all the bubbles out.
