My first order got lost in transit but the seller replaced it quickly. The probes are not the best they were falling apart after just one use. It unit seems to be working ok but only time will tell how well it does.

TL;DR - this logger doesn't consistently log at the rate you specify.I recorded data on 3 channels for about 2 hours. Set to record 1 sample per second, but partway into the test, it started recording at random intervals, sometimes 1 sample per second, sometimes 1 sample per 8 seconds, etc. Because of the way the time code is saved in the file, Excel won't recognize it as a time, so when you plot data, it plots against sample number, making you think those are seconds, but they aren't. You have to (a) notice this and then (b) brute force Excel to plot the data properly, and if you actually needed 1 sample per second, well, you're just out of luck.

Folks get picky when they can see 1/10th of a degree C, but thermocouples / their meters typically don't hold within +/- .3C. That's practical experience from someone who's used them over 30 years and much prefers RTDs.I numbered each thermocouple and put all in a temperature reference. They held to +/- .3C over 30C to 100C. Once calibrated at 70C, they held to within .1C until I got down to 30C. There, it was off by -.2C across the board.Exceptional good job on the part of the design team. Intuitive user interface, stable readings, and well considered. As an engineer with a history of designing precision instruments, I recognize the trade offs and I appreciate the work that was put into this instrument. Also, I like the carry box.

This temperature logger is a nice unit. I like the looks, interface, and functionality. Unfortunately, this unit is only good for slow temperature fluctuations as it will not refresh the temperature faster than 5 seconds. It does record data at 1 second intervals (as advertised), but the actual resolution is 5 seconds. This is apparent when you are measuring temperatures that are quickly changing, the log records the same temperature for 5 consecutive seconds, and then the temperature jumps (in my case 4-5 degrees C) and stays flat again for another 5 data points. I reached out the to manufacturer and they tell me that the unit is operating normally. I'm having to massage the data in a spreadsheet to create an average/smoothed curve, but it's not ideal.UPDATE: I was contacted by the manufacturer. They worked with me to better understand the issue. I have since been given a firmware update (version 1.15) which enables the unit to refresh & log data as low as 1 second intervals. I am now very happy with the device since the update! Thank you!

Product worked well for 4 months then it stopped logging properly and files cannot be accessed or downloaded. Not happy with purchase as it is no longer functional.

Body plastic might be better quality.Probes looks fragile. But in general works fine.Navigation is intuitive.

Really nice temp logger. Lots of memory for samples. Easy menu driven interface. Generates a pdf report internally that can be viewed when connected to a PC via USB. Nicely packaged in plastic foam filled case. Just received it but seems to be well bit.
