Very thin causing you to double up the string and they aren't very large balls to begin with. I would rate these 2.5 stars if there was a way to rate something a half star.

I use this when cooking say I do a stuffed chicken breast I can tie up the outside really well it is heat resistant and I would recommend it.

I used this to smoke some pork belly. It worked get and held up while I was smoking the meat. If you're needing this to hold your meat together while your cooking, this will work for you!

I had just moved and my butchers twine didn,t make it. I am a serious cook and couldn,t find one soClose to the Holidays so ordered this . The amount of twine was lacking as to the strength of the twine.Very seldom disappointed w/ Amazon but this was my mistake.

Needed thicker, softer twine for little preschool hands to thread their large wooden beads and wanted some left over to string between poles in the garden for bean runners to climb. This inexpensive and not too large bundle of butcher's twine will also work for tying up parcels and gifts and so much more.Perfect to keep in the all-purpose kitchen drawer for a variety of needs!
