Worked very well with HD Original Cam tensioners. New HD cam tensioners must be made differently. It worked but the spring was bigger. If you take your time...well worth it.

Tool did fine getting the old tensioner out. But when it came to putting the new one back in, it failed. It needed mortification to adapt to the new (stock) spring, in order to install it. For the price of a single use too, I would not think any changes would need to be made.

Tool is definitely a little expensive for how many times it will be used but no way to get the job done without it and worked flawlessly.

This tool works well and will save you from having to pull the Camshafts out and press them back in. The odd thing though is I found this tool will not fit the Twin Cam brand tensioners. It fits the genuine Harley Davidson tensioner fine. My local shop told me I was lucky that was the case as the Twin Cam tensioners he has put on disentegrated within a week. I bought genuine Harley Davidson Tensioners to install with this tool.
