My cats are good at scratching their tower and it needed a redo to look better. I removed the carpet and replaced it with the sisal rope and it worked great. Good value. Sisal lasts longer than carpet on scratching posts as it provides the perfect thickness that my cats prefer.

I've had to order a variety of sisal rope that says pet friendly, odorless, without chemicals, etc., but this is the only one that I've found that is actually odorless and made without any residual smell of motor oil.Thank you for being honest with your listing and for a product that is ideal for building things for cats.

Used to restring a cat scratching post. Cheaper than buying a new post. Cats use it daily.

Es muy resistente y si es grueso, lo usé para reparar un rascador y a mis gatos les gustó mucho para afilarse

I did my own DIY project to make a cat scratcher. This was very easy to work with, glued well and was and is not too messy. Perfect size for what I needed it for !

A little wider than the original sisal that my cats go crazy over, but worked perfectly for rewrapping their tree posts.A couple staples, some hot glue, & voilà!

was much thicker than i thought it would be so i wasn’t sure if my cat would like scratching it, but she does. seems sturdy, just attached to the bare post with hot glue. also when i was redoing the rope, stuff from the rope came off into the air and irritated my lungs.

I am by far not a specialist in cat tree repair, but I got this in hopes I can so my cat will stop eating the loose threads of the carpet. It worked perfectly and stayed on with hot glue.

This is a perfect match in diameter and strength to the original sisal rope on the posts that I am replacing, or rather rewrapping on an Armakat tree that has served 2 generations of cats well. However, I now have a new kitten and needed to replace pretty much all the existing tattered rope with a natural fiber rope that was free of both oil & chemicals. She’s a little over the 3 pound mark in body weight, so even the smallest amount of chemicals ingested from grooming could potentially be toxic. I also needed strong & durable to support her scratching, climbing & launching weight as she grows, while at the same time being easy for me to work with. I have weak hands/wrists so would need to wrap, tie, and glue down without much resistance. Surprisingly, this has turned out to be a super easy project once all the old rope and staples were removed. The bare post underneath is nothing more than cardboard like material. All I needed was a staple gun, glue gun, and patience. It was a matter of hot glue, wrap a couple rows, staple the top rows, continue to wrap and glue until you reach the bottom. Staple the bottom couple of rows upon completion and move on to the next tube. Now was the time to be creative and made a small platform post for one of my other cats. For the price, 100 feet is a bargain! 5-stars & cats approved!!! It’s holding up well to aggressive scratching & claw hanging. It's also naturally anti-microbial making it not only safe for your kitty posts, but safe for your body soaps or luffa on a rope!!!

This rope is very sturdy and made a great cat scratching post but it wasn't very cost effective when it was all said and done. I could have likely bought cat scratchers for less than the cost of the rope it took me to complete. I feel a little better knowing that I recycled cardboard tubes from my business but it was pricey to make my own.
