A big upgrade over a headset slightly cheaper that sounds and works great. Much lighter and more comfortable than other head sets I have used similarly priced. I had an issue so I contacted support and I had a replacement set in mailbox less than a week after contact. And most importantly, while playing my favorite FPS video game, the sound is much better than comparably priced headsets.

I tried charge-able wireless headsets a few times, was always aggravated about charge times, dieing in the middle of a match, and longevity of battery use.I went back to wired headsets and have never looked back. The only reason I had to get another set was my own fault, I accidently had the wire get caught on something and the jack to the controller got bent.Sound is great, and Turtle Beach never disappoints. Also Great price.

I've been using these headphones daily for more than two months. They let me use my iPad to take phone calls and watch videos without disturbing my wife.Likes:- Corded, no batteries!- Being able to pivot the mic out of the way- Volume control on the headset- Over-ear style- Sturdy

I bought this for my PlayStation 4, it works great especially for the price. The audio is good, it has a mute option and volume control. It’s quite sturdy, just be aware of the headphone jack so you don’t accidentally bend it like I did hahaha.This also works on multiple devices, I even started using it to listen to music on my iPad. (If you plan to do this, make sure your iPad has a headphone jack, or whatever it’s called)I bought a kraken headset after this one for nearly double the price and it was ridiculous in comparison, audio was worse, no, mic or volume control. I now have a new found appreciation for Turtle Beach.

**Update 3 years in**I wrote this review in 2022, after I had these for about 16 months and as I'm here BUYING ANOTHER SET in 2024, I thought I owed the company an update since they treated me so well, (my original review is unchanged below).UPDATE May 2024: I've had this pair since Feb 2021 and use them almost daily for hours at a time. Last night, they decided to retire and stopped working. This is no fault to the headphones, as I have logged over 3 years of use on a ps5 for both gaming and media. So I have just placed an order for a new set. I have had zero issues over the last 3 years, (they even recovered from the Destructo attack of my son almost 2 years), and could recommend them more.I am also increasing my rating to 5 stars because of how well they have treated me. I am pleased to see they are still available and haven't been discontinued. This is a no doubt must buy over any other model or brand.--(Below is original review)I bought these in Feb 2021 initially as a headset mainly for steam but also to backup my PS4/5 Sony Golds (they aren't Pulse 3D), but I quickly moved to only using these for PS5.APPEARANCE: the camo is very slick and I cabinet them when I'm not playing so no clash with the PS5 blancoFIT: I've got kind of a big head I guess, wear hats 7 1/4 and usually have glasses on when playing and the fit is pretty good. They fit snug with good compression over you ears that cancels noise a bit better than the PS4/5 gold. The cord plugs into the controller of course so I wouldn't want it any longer for sure.SOUND: you won't think you have Cowin or Beats on because the range doesn't compare but you won't notice. I play almost daily and I am not disappointed whatsoever. I also use them to watch movies/shows including Narcos, Loki, Mandolorian, Marvel, etc and the quality is not lost.VOICE SOUND: I've asked and have been told I sound clear and chat comes in clear.CONTROLS: what's nice about this over the PS Gold is that the mic arm folds back flush with the head phones which mutes the mic. In some games, the PS5 controller mute button will mute all audio instead of just the mic. There's only one volume control, so no independent chat control. Also, unlike the PS Gold headset, when this headset is plugged in, it doesn't auto-mute your sound system, so you'll have to manually turn it down to stop concurrent audio.DURABILITY: the photo attached was taken June 2022, 16 months after purchase with semi-daily use. I play and/or watch 5-7 nights a week for 2-4 hours a night, give or take and that's how they held up. My prior PS4 Gold headset before my current one looked like chop suey in the same amount of time. My Cowin headset (for Bluetooth audio on non-gaming devices), gets daily use as well and is barely holding on and I think Cowin is the best out there. I do think these are very durable EVEN THOUGH the audio jack has the fated audio fade with positioning. They still work and I don't know whether to fault the headphones wear and tear OR my son's Mr Incredible reenactment with them a week ago, (the problem started same night so probably me son).PRICE: a steal, plain and simple. Look at the above to confirm. I wouldn't buy any other headset if you're not going all out for a $100+ set.OVERALL: I'm writing this review as I am perusing Amazon for a new headset to replace these due to the issue above, even though my PS Gold are in "perfect" working order, which says a lot. The quality of this set has me deeply pondering getting this over the Pulse 3D not only for the price but also the performance compared to the PS Gold sets I've owned.

I've been avoiding getting a real gaming headset for so long, but I am glad that I finally gave in and purchased this headset. For the longest time I had been using a cheap headset with only one ear piece and limited volume control.Pros:-Very comfortable. The headset band and ear pieces have a significant layer of foam to provide excellent comfort for hours at a time.-Great sound quality. The sound quality in the headset is comparable to a surround sound system, but provides the ability to play games at ridiculous times of night without keeping others awake.-Great sound cancellation. I can no longer hear the neighbors screaming at each other while I am trying to play video games.-Good price for the quality of the product.-Volume control is very easy to use and is highly responsive.Cons:-Would love additional color variations!

I really like these earphones for gaming. They're lightweight and rest easy on my head. I can wear them for hours and my ears don't hurt. The sound quality is great too. The only real gripe that I have is that sometimes when online with my brother the sound cuts out and he can't hear me nor can I hear the in-game sound. I think it's with the connector or something in the cable but I'm not an engineer or electrical or whatever kind of person I'd need to be to know for sure.Other than my one simple gripe I feel that I got a great headset at a killer price that works really well for me. Now note: I am not a hardcore gamer but I do use this to play Borderlands 3.
