I've been trying to play my LP's more but with a black lab and static, it's just a constant stream of cleaning and the fear of damage to the needle or any other component.This turntable mat has been life changing when it comes to static and now there is minimal if any dog hair on my records.One thing to note, I did not read the directions when I received this and thought they sent me an unfinished mat. Please, read the instructions. There is a brown film that should be removed and then it's ready to use!

This is sturdy, easy to set up, and fits perfectly on my AT-LP60X. The stability is great and doesn’t cause records to slip.

This platter arrived yesterday. I didn't have any issues with the felt mat that came with my turntable but I'd heard an acrylic mat would provide more stability and reduce static. I wouldn't say my records were bouncing around on my old mat, but things seem nice and snug now.Static is a big deal, I have several pets and their hair gets on everything. Static makes it all worse. Since I got the acrylic one static certainly has reduced significantly meaning the records stay cleaner.Other than that I just think it looks really cool. Definitely worth what I paid, no question.

Great platter, very well made. Although I appreciate the care taken to protect the platter, getting that film/tape/whatever off the platter is a pain. The payoff, is how your TT will sound.

Love the contrast it has to other colors and definitely increases a bit of bass. Static also is reduced. Highly reccomend.

I wasn't sure this would serve a purpose other than aesthetic, but I live in a dry static-y area so I thought Id give it a go.Happy to say that I can actually tell a difference in sound! Less static noise, in particular. I can't tell a huge difference in bass, but that's on me. It may very well have improved but I don't really care to test it - it sounds good to me and I don't like poor quality sound fwiw lol. I will say that my new records sounds crisp and clean compared to the orignal mat though. AND the acrylic doesn't stick to my records like the felt (ugh!). Nice minor upgrade!!Mileage may vary but I would recommend if you're noticing static or live in a dry climate. It's not necessarily going to change your life, but for less than $20 it definitely adds a clean look to your setup in addition to providing better sound at a very reasonable price.
