Love the 100% Cotten and weight of the pages. Also love the size and green cover. I’ve done 6 paintings with no bleed through or warping. I will def purchase again!

This is a really nice sketchbook. It arrived in 2 days. The cover is a pretty color and good quality. The paper is cotton and sturdy. It absorbs water well and the watercolor blends nicely on it. I also had no difficulty lifting color from it. It is one of the better sketchbooks for watercolor that I have tried.

I have purchased so many watercolor notebooks on Amazon. They contain unknown mixtures of wood pulp and cotton. This notebook seems to work well as advertised as 100% cotton. I just tested it with Daniel Smith watercolor. Sometimes, journals have inconsistencies where the pigment doesn't absorb into the paper throughout the journal. I can't speak of that as of today. This is my only sample. So far so good.

The size is what drew me to this journal. Of course the 100%cotton was also a big draw.I have painted a few pages and I'm very pleased with the paper. It's thick er then the last cotton one I purchased. The paper is of good quality the cover is softer like the Strathmore journals. I'm not sure how it will hold up but it is nice looking. The binding is well made and I'm looking forward to working in it.. oh the paper is cold press but does not have much texture . However the pattern will show up after you put paint to it.. I like that... So if you like a rougher paper you might not like this... Yes I'll purchase this Journal again and if they made a larger one I would purchase it also. So yes give it a try!

I'm an illustrator and watercolor artist. I love this sketchbook! Its quality is top-notch. The paper is heavy, and no wrinkles are formed. The water and pigment absorb very well. I love its size, it is perfect for medium and small sketches and traveling. Totally recommended!

I got this to use for a watercolor travel sketchbook to toss in my bag and go. I did a trial run today and for the price it's pretty darn good. I paint a lot of wet on wet and the paint moved well. I even rewet and did a second layer and it was fine. If you are used to really high end paper, this is not that, BUT for a small travel journal with 100% cotton paper it works great.Update:I done a few paintings in this sketchbook now and I really like it. There are smoother sheets alternating in the book because of the way it is bound but it all paints well. For the price you can't go wrong

The paper is good, and takes water well. You may want to tape it down because like all watercolor paper it will buckle a bit with a lot of water. The paint spreads and lifts nicely too. I really like it, and would recommend it.
