Purchased this for my Wife who has been doing "Paint by Numbers" for two years now. This one is NOT as easy to follow. Due to the small homes and even smaller numbers to follow. She needs a magnifying glass to see and paint the small homes on the cliffs. I understand it's part of the scenery but this is just too small to follow...too bad because it'll be a great picture when she's done.Also, the paint brushes that come with this item are NOT small enough to paint the homes and other objects on this canvas.... way too small to paint. I don't recommend this due to the "eye straining effort" and having to use a magnifying glass and too large of a bristle brush. I would not purchase again.

This was above my skill level, but I enjoyed painting it. Needed to buy a smaller brush as the one included was too fat for the tiny spots. Some of the numbers were difficult to read as they were similar to other numbers. The paper guide was worse, as it was smaller than the canvas.

I have always buy paint by numbers and usually look for a certain amoun of difficulty, but this was too much no in the sense of being able to paint them but to look for the number one on top of the other, either way i finished it and to look at it is really not what i was hoping for. Skies look really fake for the tone of the colors not even to mention the water or even the mountain.

Not enough paint in the kit. When I ordered a second kit, a different version was sent. This version seemed easier and had colors that seemed to work better. I ordered 6 more kits and every one came back with the incorrect colors. Was trying to deal with the seller as I'm sure this could be resolved, but Amazon won't let me. They keep thinking its their issue but its not. Tried to explain it with my return but no response.

Not best for beginners, way too fine of details

The paint colors provided didn't really match the picture, and as a other reviewer mentioned, the lack of a reference sheet made this harder than it needed to be. Ended up having to mix some of my own paint colors to make it look right. Maybe the paint pots were misnumbered? The positioning of the numbers in some spots were right on the border lines so if you painted one section you could end up coloring over the number to the section right next to it. Also some of the paints were clumpy and others not thick enough to cover the dark printed numbers numbers, so they bled through. Definitely recommend investing in some good quality 0 or 00 fine paint brushes, a bottle of floetrol to make the paint easier to apply, and then pick a different painting because this one was a royal pain. Have done many of these paint by numbers paintings (some much more intricate) and struggled with this one a lot.

I'm just in love with painting this. This is perfect for killing time during the quarantine. I started with the darker colors and the colors are actually very pretty. I'm going to frame it after finish painting and it could be a beautiful decor for my bedroom.

Originally received the wrong product, but after we reached out to customer service they quickly worked to send us the correct painting. When the correct one showed up we were very pleased with it. Very nice colors and paints.
