The markers worked well for a class project. They didn’t smudge or smear on the cloth when my group of 7 year olds used them.

The packaging is not great. The way the markers are packed, they rattle together. As you can see from the photos, this resulted in one of the blue markers blowing its load all over the inside of the packaging and the other markers. It was quite a mess, but baby wipes did the trick. The marker that dumped its juice and made the mess was completely drained and sucked dry by the experience. But the other markers were fine and they work quite well. I was able to complete the shoe project with no trouble. The markers are spindly (not as thick / sturdy as other fabric markers I have had), which probably means there is not as much ink in them, so they won’t last as long. The tips are pretty fine as well, which is nice for fine line work, but a wider tip would have been easier for my shoe project. The ink seems to spread and “bleed” more than other fabric markers I have had.I might buy these fabric markers again, but only if the ink on fabric (shoes) stands the test of time. We’ll have to wait and see. They’re not my favourite, but they’re not the worst either.

I was pretty happy with these, although not completely. I use the fabric markers on canvas tote bags (see photo), so the ones with softer tips work better for me. The tips on these are fairly hard, which allows them to make a fine line, but they are not as good for larger areas. Having said that, most of them worked well. When I first started, some of the tips seemed dry. Most of them got better after use, but a couple of them continued to not spread the color well. They seem to last, as I was able to do both sides of the bag without running out of ink or having it get a lot lighter. I don't like these as well as the brand I have been using, but that brand seems to not be available right now, and these were an adequate substitute. According to the instructions, they don't have to be heat set but you need to wait 24 hours minimum before washing. The colors can be blended if you do it right away. Conversely, you need to wait for one color to dry before using another color right next to it. I would buy these again.

I was a little hesitant as there were many reviewers that had complained of dried markers, but I tested them all right away and all of them worked. I also stored them in a zip-lock back so they won't dry out.The markers didn't bleed unless you left the marker in one spot for the ink the run. After washing the fabric the colors remained true. They worked just as expected and lots of colors to choose from.It was a great buy!

These markers worked wonderfully, they were for a baby shower and all the ladies got to write something cute or inspiring on a onesie for the expecting parents to keep their hopes up during the crushing realization that they no longer have a life to live, just a life of servitude to a tiny pink dictator who poops and cries seemingly at random. But I am sure at 340am when they are elbow deep in baby poop and vomit the nice message from Aunt Nancy will keep them going through the rest of the cold and endless night until the baby finally falls asleep and they can squeeze in a few minutes of a nap before the turbulent cycle starts over. Then they are stumbling around a messy kitchen trying to keep their wits as their "little bundle of joy" as stupid Aunt Nancy puts it, screams like a howler monkey while they scramble to find the last clean bottle in hope of ending the audible torture that this monster is inflicting on them. Also, very nice array of colors in this package, we found it helpful

I bought these markers to use as part of my embroidery projects. When you do embroidery on a machine, sometimes there are gaps in the registry. You don't want white gaps in the middle of your design, so you add the color of the thread that should be in that area. It is a great way to fix errors in your hooping or in the design itself. I like that this set has lots of colors including varying shades in each color. I haven't even tried them to fill in or draw custom designs on a shirt, but I bet you could.

I purchased these markers for my daughter's art themed birthday party. Her party was in the park, so I thought this would be a cleaner way for kids to design their own shirt than the other options (tie-dye, puff paint, etc.)Pros: there were multiple color choices, which the kids enjoyed. I have washed the shirts we used the markers on and didn't notice any bleeding.Cons: the tip on the markers was very fine and the younger kids didn't press hard enough for some of the lighter colors to show up. The markers themselves seemed dry-this may be to prevent bleeding since they are a fabric marker.Since they are fine tip, they are better for writing on fabric, not drawing/designing. They work fine on fabric, but just weren't exactly what I was needing.

I bought three brands of fabric markers: Crayola Fabric Markers, Stained by Sharpie, and TULIP 28976 Fine Writers Markers. This review is a comparison. The TULIP were my favorite, hands down. They flowed just right, neither too dry nor too watery. The colors were vibrant. I will be ordering more. They do not require heat-setting, though I realized this after I ironed everything. The Sharpie markers were also the driest of the three. They weren't dried out; but it took more strokes to fill in an area. They do not require heat-setting.The Crayola markers were the wettest, so much so that I got bleeding between colors. This wateriness makes it easier to fill large solid areas, but you need to be careful to wait a few minutes for the color to dry before drawing with another color in an adjacent area. They require heat-setting, which is time-consuming.

I chose this rating because I needed a marker that would be bright on fabric and not bleed. These are great! I will buy again. I like the smaller tip because I can use them to write on fabric as well as for color effect. As always you do need to do a sample on the fabric you want to use. Looser woven fabrics might bleed a little. I like using tightweave fabrics when using markers.
