The Tulip Photo Transfer Kit for Fabric appears to be a very good product. The kit comes with everything necessary to create photo transfer projects, and the instructions are very clear and detailed. I opened the bottle of transfer medium and was pleased that it does not have an extremely strong odor. Unfortunately, I did not notice before ordering that this kit only works with laser printers or toner based copiers, and I live in a motorhome and only have access to an inkjet printer. So I have not had an opportunity to use it. If I get a chance to print a photo with a laser printer, I will try the kit and update this review. Based on the apparent quality of the kit, the good instructions, and the reputation of the brand, I am giving this Tulip Photo Transfer Kit for Fabric five stars. When I am able to try it out with a photo, I will update this review.

I tried this on a cute print that had an irregular shape- and while it kind of worked, I noticed some of the edges and curves it didn't seem to quite 'stick'. Thank fully the image is busy enough it cant really be noticed unless you look for it. SO it does work, but shapes may prove a bit tricky.

I have always liked this brand, but I don't care for the flimsy packaging. Also, this is either for photos that are printed from a drugstore or for photos printed using toner in order for it to be waterproof and permanent. I will play more with the product and may amend my review. The price point was ok. I probably would've rated this a 3.5 if I could, but because it is Tulip brand, I went ahead and rated it 4 stars.

I recently tried the Tulip Photo Transfer Kit for Fabric, and it was a fun and easy way to personalize my Christmas projects. The kit includes everything you need: a bottle of transfer medium, a smoothing tool, a sponge, and a brush. I used it to transfer photos onto a couple of T-shirts and tote bags, and the results were pretty good for how this kit works. The instructions were straightforward, and the process was simple. The photos turned out clear and vibrant, though I am concerned about regular use or washing of the fabric. My next project is homemade cloth-wrapped ornaments and I think that's going to work out very well for that purpose.Pros:- Easy to use with clear instructions- Great results with vibrant, clear images- Includes all necessary tools- Perfect way to personalize gifts and more- Trusted Name Brand who stands behind their products- Fun to Use- Enough medium for multiple projectsCons:- Works best on light-colored fabrics- Requires Laser (Toner) Printer- 72 hour wait time not ideal for impatient people- Requires hand washing for lasting results (and even then, do have too high of expectations)Overall, it’s a fantastic kit at a reasonable price for adding a personal touch to fabric items, and I’ve enjoyed using it for my DIY projects.
